We will be on a two-per week schedule for the foreseeable future. We will definitely hit those three; I like Estrada quite a bit.
Excellent, would be great to hear what you think about his loss in velocity and whether or not his 2012 k/rate was a one-off or something he could again attain.
Also, please talk about Alex Wood, B.J. Upton, Gavin Floyd, and Tyler Pastornicky. Loving these shows so far.
Andrelton Simmons; he looked great in WBC batting lead off but his season was weird with the home runs, poor avg/obp. If his BABIP returns to his career avg is he going to be studly. Will he keep up the power? When will he steal bases? 🙂
For fantasy would you rather have Simmons or bogaerts for the next 3 yrs?
Loved this one–nice mix of guys everyone has to consider (Bautista & Encarnacion), post-hype guys (Lawrie), and deeper-league possibilities (Peacock and Grossman). I also liked hearing where you two sat on Reyes’s ADP, which seems like a really practical consideration, in addition to knowing more general points–like Eno’s desire for an all-low-strikeout team.
You’ve got many names above to consider, but I’d love to hear your take on Braun’s current ADP and on where you put Lucroy among catchers.
Hi, I am in a 10 team AL only plus the Nationals roto league. $260 budget, keepers default to $10. I have Villar and Brad Miller and I can keep them both for $10. Top players in the draft go for about $32 ish. Think it is worth it? Miller is the 8th best SS and Villar is the 10th best SS on average. Also want to know the same question for Wilson Ramos ($10, 5th best catcher it looms like) and Sonny Gray ($10, 21st best SP) Thanks!
Yea, on Villar’s speed & Miller’s double-double potential….I do. I like Ramos & Gray at that price as well
I have Lawrie on my keeper team for 2B. 14 teams / 9 keepers each. Keeping him over Hill, even though possibility Lawrie only has 3B contention in 2015 and beyond.
Is that the right call? FWIW I have a top 2 keeper base in my leagye and a lot of early picks in the redraft, so I should be competing for the ‘Ship yet again. Problem is I have Hanley at SS . . . there’s a chance by 2015 I’ll have two good 3B in Hanley-Lawrie and no 2B or SS. My UTIL is blocked by Chris Davis with Goldy at 1st, so I can’t move one of Lawrie-Hanley to UTIL for 2015.
Hoping I run hot and Hanley gets 5+ SS starts and Lawrie 5+ 2B starts.
Lot can change in one year but this is my dilemma for right now.
Yea, I like Lawrie quite a bit for 2014. I just traded Lester straight up to get him at a similar price
