The Sleeper and the Bust DFS Contest
Every week the Sleeper and the Bust podcast hosts a DFS contest for the podcast. The winner gets a shoutout on the Roto Riteup and on the podcast as well as my and Paul Sporer’s hard earned cash. This week’s contest can be found here:

Various News and Notes
Ned Yost announced his plans to retire at the end of the season. This move was expected since the beginning of the season, but it is official now. This could have a significant fantasy impact. The Royals have pushed it on the basepaths under Yost, posting the most stolen bases as a team since he took over in 2010, second most this year. Mike Matheny is expected to take over as the Royals manager next year. As the Cardinals manager, Matheny was much more conservative on the bases, stealing the fifth fewest bases over his last three seasons as manager. This would likely be a big downgrade for Royals base stealers for 2020.

Austin Hays went 3-for-8 with two home runs and a stolen base versus the Blue Jays. Since coming up from the minors, Hays is hitting .314/.364/.627 with four home runs. Hays is a post-hype prospect that was a sleeper coming into last year but struggled to get to the Majors. He should have a chance to be an everyday player for the Orioles in 2020.

Amed Rosario went 1-for-4 with a grand slam versus the Marlins. Rosario has been great in the second half, hitting .318/.350/.458 with six home runs and eight stolen bases including three homers in the last week. He is likely to be a nice bargain on draft day in 2020.

Quick Hits
Lourdes Gurriel will miss the rest of the season due to appendicitis. He is droppable in all redraft formats.

Justin Upton is done for the season with a patella injury.
