The Sleeper and the Bust DFS Contest
Every week the Sleeper and the Bust podcast hosts a DFS contest for the podcast. The winner gets a shoutout on the Roto Riteup and on the podcast as well as my and Paul Sporer’s hard earned cash. Congrats to this week’s winner, Justin Mason!!!

Various News and Notes
Daniel Hudson recorded the save for the Nationals on Tuesday. Sean Doolittle was unavailable to pitch the ninth for Washington, but this is illuminating for fantasy owners that clearly Hudson is next man up if something happens to Doolittle.

Teoscar Hernandez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run versus the Blue Jays on Tuesday. Hernandez has been hot in the second half, hitting .275/.371/.681 with 11 home runs in 27 games. He is a defensive liability, but he can hit and the Blue JAys have moved pieces in order to get him full time run. He is widely available and should be picked up in most format just to ride the hot streak.

Kyle Seager and Tom Murphy hit a total of five home runs on Tuesday. Seager belted three home runs bring him up to eight in the second half with a .290 average. He isn’t the player he once was, but is worth riding the hot streak. Murphy is in a part time role and is best suited for AL Only leagues.

Quick Hits
Jeff McNeil left Tuesday’s game with a hamstring injury. After the game, manager Mickey Callaway stated that the injury was just tightness. Consider McNeil day-to-day for now.

Avisail Garcia left Tuesday’s game with an oblique injury. He is going to be reevaluated today, but typical oblique injuries can end players on the IL for 4-6 weeks which would make him droppable in all formats at this point in the season.

Fernando Tatis Jr left Tuesday’s game with back spasms. This sounds precautionary, so hopefully he isn’t out for long.

Streaming Pitching Options (Less than 50% owned)
Pitcher for Tomorrow: None
Not a lot of great safe options, but there are quite a few high risk ones.
High Risk Options: Cal Quantrill vs TB, Gio Gonzalez vs MIN, Kolby Allard at TOR, Sean Reid-Foley vs TEX, Elieser Hernandez vs LAD.

Pitcher for Tomorrow: Andrew Heaney vs CWS
Heaney pitched well in his first outing back from the IL and now should get deeper into the ball game versus a less talented White Sox offense.

High Risk Options: Spencer Turnbull vs SEA

Somewhere along the way, likely because of copy and pasting, the pitcher for today has turned into yesterday’s pitcher for tomorrow.
