Angels

• Over the last three games, Nolan Schanuel has hit leadoff.

Luis Rengifo is consistently hitting in the top half of the lineup.

Ehire Adrianza has started at third base in three of the last four games.

Astros

Joey Loperfido (.727 OPS, 45% K%) is only starting against righties.

Athletics

• A disaster to figure out.

Darell Hernaiz (.406 OPS) has started in eight straight games.

Abraham Toro (.765 OPS, 3 HR) has started in eight of the last nine games.

Blue Jays

Davis Schneider (.254/.346/.451, 3 HR) has started in six straight games while batting between fifth and seventh.

Addison Barger (.111 OPS) has only started against righties.

Guardians

• Steady with everyone cycling through the DH spot.

Mariners

Dylan Moore (.682 OPS, 2 HR, 5 SB) has started in eight of nine games at shortstop.

Luke Raley (vs RHP) and Sam Haggerty (vs LHP) are in a left-field platoon.

Orioles

Heston Kjerstad has only started three times since being promoted.

Ramón Urías (.434 OPS, vs RHP) and Jorge Mateo (.828 OPS, 1 HR, 4 SB, 34 PA vs LHP, 17 vs RHP) are splitting time with Jordan Westburg moving between second and third base.

Rangers

• Steady.

Rays

• While still only starting against righties, Richie Palacios (.310/.430/.465, 3 HR, 4 SB) is now hitting in one of the top two spots.

José Caballero has moved up as high as hitting sixth.

Amed Rosario (.755 OPS, 2 HR, 3 SB) is no longer playing in the outfield but at second base.

Red Sox

Ceddanne Rafaela (.568 OPS, 2 HR, 4 SB) has started 13 straight games at shortstop.

Vaughn Grissom slid into the seventh spot in his debut off the IL.

• Over the last three games, the team has used a different first baseman (Garrett Cooper, Dominic Smith, or Bobby Dalbec)

Royals

Michael Massey (.718 OPS, 2 HR) is hitting fifth over the last four games. Of the three lefty starters the team has faced since he came off the IL, he has only started against one.

MJ Melendez has dropped to the seventh spot (.145 OPS over the last two weeks).

Nelson Velázquez has only started in five of the last ten games.

Tigers

Wenceel Pérez (.961 OPS, 3 HR, 2 SB) has started in seven of eight games while mainly batting third. He has started in center field twice during that stretch forcing Parker Meadows to the bench.

Matt Vierling (.758 OPS, 3 HR) has started at third base in nine of the last ten games.

Twins

• Heavy usage of platoons continues.

Ryan Jeffers has started in eight of 10 games, four as the DH, while hitting leadoff.

• Even with Carlos Correa off the IL, Willi Castro (.789 OPS, 2 HR, 3 SB) has started in three games.

White Sox

Nicky Lopez (.515 OPS) has hit leadoff in six of the last seven games.

Danny Mendick (.703 OPS, 1 HR, 1 SB) has started in 10 straight games at third base.

• Since joining the team, Tommy Pham has been hitting second and playing in center field.

Yankees

• Over the last four games, Trent Grisham (.391) has started in centerfield and Alex Verdugo (.805 OPS) sits.

National League

Braves

• Steady.

Brewers

• The lineup is confusing but it seems like the same guys are getting the same amount of playing time as they previously did.

• In Tyler Black’s first game, he hit cleanup and played first base.

Cardinals

• Steady.

Cubs

• Against the last three lefty starters, Michael Busch didn’t start.

Pete Crow-Armstrong (.780 OPS, 1 HR, 1 SB) has started in seven of eight games since being promoted.

Miguel Amaya (.601 OPS) has started in six of the last 10 games.

Diamondbacks

• While Jake McCarthy is still on the strong side of a platoon, he has hit leadoff in the last four games he has started.

Blaze Alexander (.937 OPS) has only started in five of the last ten games. During the same ten games, Kevin Newman (.502 OPS) started in seven games.

Dodgers

Max Muncy has not started against four of the last five lefties with Enrique Hernández playing instead.

Giants

Patrick Bailey (.793 OPS) has moved up to hitting fifth but may miss some time because of a concussion.

Marlins

• With Jake Burger on the IL, Emmanuel Rivera (.582 OPS) has started in 13 of 14 games.

Christian Bethancourt 베탄코트 (.107 OPS) has started at catcher in four of the last eight games.

Mets

• Since being recalled, J.D. Martinez (.757 OPS) has started in five of seven games.

Tyrone Taylor (.707 OPS, 2 HR, 3 SB) has started in six of the last 10 games.

Nationals

• As the DH, Nick Senzel (.877 OPS) has hit second in four of the last five games.

Trey Lipscomb (.645 OPS, 5 SB) has started in seven of the last nine games.

Alex Call (vs LHP) and Eddie Rosario (vs RHP) are in a right-field platoon.

Padres

Jurickson Profar has hit leadoff for four straight games.

Ha-Seong Kim 김하성 has hit eighth in the last two games.

Phillies

• Steady.

Brandon Marsh has sat against four of the last five lefties.

Pirates

Ke’Bryan Hayes (.694 OPS) has hit leadoff for the last four games.

• The team has no regulars besides Hayes, Bryan Reynolds (.744 OPS), and Jared Triolo (.522 OPS).

Reds

• A couple of injuries make figuring out the lineup tough. Christian Encarnacion-Strand (.536 OPS) is now back so the playing time for Nick Martini (.549 OPS) and Jeimer Candelario (.659 OPS) might take a hit.

Rockies

Jordan Beck has started three straight games since being promoted.

Hunter Goodman has only started three of six games since his promotion.

Elehuris Montero (.213/.269/.298) has started 10 straight games.

Verdugo was away from the team for 3-4 days he wasn’t really sitting for Grisham.

I have no idea why Starling Marte is hitting second he has a sub .300 obp and is walking 4% of the time.
