Angels

• Since being promoted, Matthew Lugo (.931 OPS, 3 HR, 38% K%, 0% BB%) started in eight of 12 games.

Astros

Cam Smith (.277/.370/.340 in May) with seven straight starts.

Zach Dezenzo (.657 OPS, 1 HR) with two starts in the last six games.

Athletics

• There has been a ton of player movement on Friday evening, so fantasy managers will need to see how the moves affect each other.

Blue Jays

Nathan Lukes (.807 OPS, 4 HR) with seven straight starts.

Guardians

• In his first game off the IL, Lane Thomas hit second. The first player forced to the bench was Gabriel Arias. This will be a situation to monitor over the weekend.

Mariners

• No changes.

Orioles

Ramón Urías (.709 OPS) and Emmanuel Rivera (.650 OPS) split time at third base.

Dylan Carlson (.165 OPS), Heston Kjerstad (.582 OPS), and Ramón Laureano (.852 OPS) split two outfield spots.

Rangers

Josh Smith (vs RHP) and Ezequiel Duran (vs LHP) form a shortstop platoon with Corey Seager on the IL.

Rays

• The only regulars are Yandy Díaz, Jonathan Aranda, José Caballero (nine starts in 10 games, .697 OPS), and Brandon Lowe.

Junior Caminero (.661 OPS) with just seven starts in the last 10 games.

Chandler Simpson (.644 OPS, 12 SB) is not starting against lefties (.690 OPS vs RHP, .509 OPS vs LHP).

Red Sox

Nick Sogard (.626 OPS) and Abraham Toro (.538 OPS) split time at first base.

Royals

• Keep an eye on Michael Massey’s (.500 OPS) playing time with Nick Loftin (.295/.451/.468, 4 HR, 12 SB) being recalled from AAA.

• No more Hunter Renfroe.

Tigers

• Steady.

Twins

Ryan Jeffers hit leadoff in the last two games.

Brooks Lee is hitting second or third.

• While starting in eight of the last 10 games, Kody Clemens (career .653 OPS vs RHP, .695 OPS vs LHP) sat against all lefties.

DaShawn Keirsey Jr. (.299 OPS) started in six of the last seven games.

White Sox

Matt Thaiss (.217/.371/.301, 1 HR, 1 SB) started at catcher in four of the last seven games. He’s batted between second and fifth.

Joshua Palacios (last 2 weeks, .286/.355/.536, 1 HR) started seven straight games in right field.

Yankees

• Since returning from the IL, DJ LeMahieu (.654 OPS) has five starts in seven games, all at second base.

Jorbit Vivas (vs RHP) and Oswald Peraza (vs LHP) are platooning at third base.

National League

Braves

Michael Harris II hit eighth over the last two games.

• Monitor who sits (White or Verdugo) with Ronald Acuña Jr. coming off the IL. (Note: White on Friday)

Brewers

Isaac Collins has four starts over the last five games while batting sixth.

Cardinals

Nolan Arenado (.695 OPS, 5 HR) moved down to batting sixth.

Alec Burleson (.291 AVG, 4 HR, 3 SB) with three starts over the last hour games.

• Since being promoted, Matt Shaw (.644 OPS) started every game and hit ninth.

Diamondbacks

Alek Thomas (vs RHP) and Tim Tawa (vs LHP) are in a center field platoon.

Jordan Lawlar started in three of eight games since being promoted.

Dodgers

• The lineup is now healthy with some previous regulars (Kim, Pages) taking a playing time hit.

• Since being recalled, Dalton Rushing started in three of seven games.

Giants

• Since coming off the IL, Tyler Fitzgerald (.774 OPS) started in five of six games.

Casey Schmitt (.612 OPS) started in two of the last three games (1B and 3B) since coming off the IL.

Marlins

• The two middle infield spots are crowded with Otto Lopez (.632 OPS), Javier Sanoja (.602 OPS), Graham Pauley (.534 OPS), and Ronny Simon (.520 OPS) starting there over the past two games.

Jesús Sánchez is back to leading off.

Mets

Brett Baty (.692 OPS, 5 HR) with three straight starts at third base with Mark Vientos (.674 OPS, 5 HR) at DH.

Nationals

Robert Hassell III (.288/.337/.405 in AAA) debuted Thursday in centerfield. I’m not sure how the outfield playing time is going to shake out with Hassell, Alex Call (.766 OPS), Jacob Young (.591 OPS), and Dylan Crews (.620 OPS) all getting starts.

José Tena (.245/.301/.340, 0 HR, 1 SB) with six straight starts at third base.
