Guardians

Leody Taveras (.554 OPS) started seven straight in right field.

Kameron Misner (.741 OPS, 4 HR, 3 SB) with five straight starts in centerfield.

Red Sox

• While not actionable, Wilyer Abreu continues to struggle against lefties (.558 OPS vs LHP, .985 OPS vs RHP). Rob Refsnyder got the last start against a lefty.

Abraham Toro (.500 OPS) and Nick Sogard (.541 OPS) split time at first base.

Royals

Hunter Renfroe (.452 OPS) with two straight starts in right field.

• I haven’t grasped the first-second-third base and DH situation. Tim Elko, Andrew Vaughn, Miguel Vargas, Lenyn Sosa, and Josh Rojas seem to split time at the four spots.

Edgar Quero (.296/.390/.338) bats third or fourth when he starts at catcher.

Yankees

• In his first game off the IL, DJ LeMahieu hit seventh and played second base.

Oswald Peraza (.617 OPS) and Jorbit Vivas (.514 OPS) might split time at third base.

National League

Braves

• No changes.

Joey Ortiz (.462 OPS) only started once in the last three games.

Andruw Monasterio (.375 OPS) started three straight games while batting eighth.

• The lineup changes due to Dane Myers going on the IL led to Matt Mervis (.689 OPS) regaining a full-time role.

Brett Baty (vs RHP) and Luisangel Acuña (vs LHP) might be in a second base platoon.

• Over the last 10 games, Jeff McNeil (.816 OPS) started in six.

Nationals

Amed Rosario (.762 OPS) and José Tena (.627 OPS) split time at third base.

Jacob Young (.544 OPS) with just three starts in the last five games after starting 12 in a row. Dylan Crews (.563 OPS) moved to centerfield with Alex Call (.776 OPS) playing in right field.

Baty is mostly starting at third base vs righties and Vientos as the DH against them while Marte starts as the DH vs lefties and Vientos is at third base vs lefties. Acuna really can’t hit righties and McNeil should play everyday imo.
