It’s going to be a great lineup.
You fade the Mets so hard lol. They have a great lineup and I get that there are playing time concerns because of no DH but it’s not like Dom, Nimmo, and McNeil aren’t gonna be in the lineup 5-6 days a week.
Also, weird discrepancy between two dudes that haven’t played since 2019 – Haniger 96th and Mancini 47th.
I have more confidence that Mancini plays more than 60 games
Mancini was a superior bat and played the full season in 2019 while Haniger showed an EV drop with K% and IFF% jumps.
I love Haniger, but that’s easy to understand.
Why so down on Pham?
3 injuries and the unknown ramifications, probably.
Worried about his health after the stabbing.
Hehe, I’d forgotten about the stabbing. Now, the Profar signing makes more sense…
If Ha-Seong Kim works out at all, I’d wager Profar’s getting the LF at bats

Also, am I the only one not enamored with Nick Solak? I’d probably drop him 25 slots from this.
It’s funny. I used to have him as a sleeper, where now I see him being overrated. I’d drop him lower too. There’s still some significant bust potential with him.
I’m sorta with you, but I think the argument for him is that you’re going to get Shin-Soo Choo numbers, so like 20HR/15SB .280/.360/.480, which puts target around where he’s ranked. It doesn’t sound exciting, but a little power, little speed, on-base skills and likely counting stats.
Part I don’t get…..none of the projection systems have him near this line. You’ve got to have him 20% above his projections to get him here.
How is Canha, who is legitimately good, behind Puig, who is legitimately not and also not even on an MLB team?
Puig legitimately isn’t good?2017-2019 he went 28/15, 23/15,24/19 with BA around .265. Not having a team is an issue, but he’s good.
Why do we care about 17? It started a downward trend that continued into 18 and 19 and he was out of baseball for 20 even before covid. The Braves were signing him to do the same role Markakis was going to be and no other team was interested. I don’t know why we would be any more interested.
except 2017 took an extra 130 at bats to achieve those stats over the 2018. I don’t we hold the same definition of “downward”
At that ADP, not like he’s going to screw you over. But teams clearly aren’t very interested in him, so idk why fantasy teams are, either.
We care about it because decent projections are based off of 3-5 years of data. Given that 2020 was a significantly shortened season, we’re even more inclined to go back to it.
Canha…..appears to have less platoon pressure and if you are in OBP league…he is worthy of consideration.
I wouldn’t worry about Canhas platoon pressure, but to say Puig isn’t better than Canha at a freeish adp is also inaccurate. The reason you might take Canha over him is Puig seems to be blackballed…but Puig is rosterable in a 12 man 3of league with a spot

He had Edman at 10 for 3B; he just really likes him a lot.

The outfield is very weak. Almost better off holding after the top-9 go and filling in with guys much later.
Weird how the best OFs are almost all NL. (6 of the top 7). Wonder if this is some sort of high for concentration of talent in one league vs. the other.
Where would Yordan Alvarez, Ketel Marte, and Kris Bryant fit? OF-eligible in our league. Thanks so much!
Eaton over Peralta?
Love the aggressive Harper ranking, and I agree with it. Same with Aroz.
I see that you are buying into Meadows, but I am concerned that he could lose at bats vs LHP, as he did last year.
Why the hate on Yaz? This is two years in a row where he has been excellent. I don’t like owning SF hitters, but that ballpark actually played positive last year, somehow. Same thing with Dickerson to an extent, I’d have him 30 spots higher.
