Justin Mason: At this point, there are not a lot of reasons to think he does other than track record which isn’t particularly that long. I am holding where I have him but that might be stubbornness more than anything else.

Jack: What to do with Blake Snell? 12TM H2H categories dynasty league. I have 10 SPs and he is clearly the worst, but the upside (his second half last year) is hard to cut. No better pitching on the wire, so his spot would be for streaming

Justin Mason: I have a hard time cutting him because of the talent in his arm, but you need to have that streaming spot. Can you trade him or someone else to improve elsewhere?

I have Glasnow coming back from the IL soon and need to either drop someone, or try and do a 2 for 1 trade. What do you think of a Steele/Kirby for Luis Castillo deal? Am I giving up too much? Justin Mason: I think this is just the bottom end of the range of outcomes for Rosario. He swings and misses a lot out of the zone and when he isn’t making a ton of in-zone contact, he is going to struggle.

Rickey: What do you see from Outman and Suwinski the rest of the way? Feels like pitchers have made adjustments on both guys and both need to adjust back. Are you buying either, or both? Also, are you starting Taj Bradley with the tough two-start this week, or Jon Gray vs Baltimore?

Justin Mason: I have very little faith that Suwinski will adjust back. He is who is he is. I think Outman can readjust, but we just don’t know if he will. I am starting Gray right now over Taj

Justin Mason: I think so. Injury can happen to anyone, but he has been so great and Seattle is a really nice place to pitch.

Joey Baggadonuts: Do you think Brown finds his way into the Cubbies rotation by June, or does Hendricks’ imminent return box him out?

Justin Mason: I would be surprised if he is not in the rotation by the end of June.

Kid: 12-team Dynasty, cats with OPS.  Other owner wants my Wander + Elly De La Cruz for their Julio Rodriguez… thoughts?

Justin Mason: That is tough but I think I would do that.

Chilly: Glasnow seems to be one of those guys whose value is boosted by prospect pedigree despite never starting more than 14g in a season.   Would u expect his production to be the same as when he had the sticky stuff?

Justin Mason: I think he has showed that he can be really great in small stretches, but struggles to stay on the mound. I think he can be just as productive as he used to, but I am never going to bet he throws a lot of innings.

Pete: Hi Justin – Is Miguel Castro a good add for saves the rest of the way and is there anyone worth speculating on for saves around the league that hasn’t been noticed as of yet<

Justin Mason: I think Castro is an interesting guy, but I think that job could switch hands a number of times and the Diamondbacks could easily add an arm at the deadline if they are in the race which I expect them to be.

aj: are you buying mid-3 era estimators on hunter greene? i would think they would hes more of a 4.0 guy as the temps heat up in cinci

Justin Mason: The homers are too big of an issue for him to be a low to mid 3 guy

aj: any preference on dejong vs adames? ride the hot hand? h2h ops league

Justin Mason: Prefer Adames

John W: Time to worry on Taylor Ward and Brendan Donovan?

Justin Mason: I think now is the time to worry on both.

John W: Would you sell high on either (or both) of Bryce Miller or Tanner Bibee?

Justin Mason: It depends on what you can get back and if you have the pitching to sustain you without them. I think Bibee will be really good. I think there is some big regression coming for Miller, but I don’t think that means he falls apart. I just worry about a guy with a 50% flyball rate as the weather heats up around the country. The skills have been great though.

aj: all other things considered, would you trade the likes of a mountcastle for hunter greene?

Justin Mason: No

Don Von Handburger: In a 12-team OBP league, I have Brendan Donovan on my bench and occasionally in the lineup.  But he stinks.  Should I replace him with Javier Baez or Mitch Haniger?  Of even Jake McCarthy on a stash-n-hold?

Justin Mason: To be quite honest, none of them inspire me at all.

Kid: Nolan Gorman – Increased BB rate, decreased K rate, increased contact rate, doing nicely against LHP (Granted, only 16 PA).  Are we witnessing a true breakout?  As in a top-50 player going forward?

Justin Mason: Top 50 may be a bit high, but this is a legit breakout.

Ian: 20 team Dynasty h2h. Have Bohm, McMahon, E Duran, Baty all able to play 3b. Been offered Owen Murphy , Drew Waters for Matt Chapman. Pull the trigger?

Justin Mason: No, you should get more for Chapman

Guest: 12-team NL only keeper. If he doesn’t exceed 50 IP, I get an extra year of “control” if I don’t activate Stone from reserve. Does he threaten 50 IP assuming May is back within a month and Miller sticks in the rotation?

Justin Mason: Yeah, I think he throws more than 50 unless he gets hurt.

Justin Mason: He has looked really good recently. I am starting him in most spot, but I might also try and sell high if there are buyers considering his injury history.
