Longoria should definitely be higher even with the risks

Damn, I was starting to get an inkling that 3rd is weak this year, but seeing the rankings really confirms it. After about Riley at 5 it’s a bunch of pretty boring, professional hitter types who have very similar skill sets all the way down to somewhere around Candelario at 19.

If I’m picking some values, I kinda like Biggio as a late pick to see if his 2021 was an injury related fluke, both in terms of his hitting and his lack of SB attempts. I’d take Donaldson over McMahon, Chapman and Turner, also. I would actually consider him over anyone as far up as DJLM.

And even then the error bars around Riley are SUBSTANTIAL

Yeah, I still can’t get over how Riley was left for dead on draft day in 2021 and now he’s #5 on this list. I still feel that he could go either way. I would have to take a long hard look at the ‘boring’ superstars of Bregman and Rendon because their track history has more depth at this point.
