Fantasy Weekly Planner 9/14/20-9/20/20

This article is going to be a weekly planner/FAAB piece. It will come out each Sunday morning for those of you looking for ideas for that night’s pick-up.

Things to Consider
The Giants had both their games on Friday and Saturday postponed due to a player testing positive for COVID-19. At the time of writing, there is no confirmation on when they will start playing again.

The Orioles, Tigers, Astros, Angels, Mariners, Cubs, Reds, and Brewers play all their games at home this week!

The Blue Jays, Indians, Royals, Twins, Rangers, Braves, Nationals, Cardinals, Diamondbacks, Dodgers, and Giants play all their games on the road this week.

The Royals, Cubs, Diamondbacks, Rockies, and Giants only play five games this week.

The Cardinals play three double headers this week.

The Pirates, Brewers, Phillies, Mets, and Nationals play two double headers this week.

Pickups to Consider By Position
Catchers:
Sean Murphy– Murphy has finally gotten hot at the plate after a slow start to the season and should move up the lineup with Matt Chapman out.

Infielders:
Jeimer Candelario– Candelario is hitting .400 with three home runs and 13 RBI so far in September.

Bobby Dalbec– Dalbec is a three true outcome player, but has already hit six home runs in 11 games and the average has actually been good.

Ty France– France has had a great year and now is playing everyday now that he has been traded to Seattle.

Jasrado Chisholm– Chisholm has power and speed and the Marlins will give him run. The average will likely continue to be a negative.

Outfielders:
D.J. Stewart– With Anthony Santander on the IL, Stewart should get plenty of run and there is a ton of power in that bat.

Victor Reyes– He has power and speed and is leading off for the Tigers.

Manuel Margot– Margot has 11 stolen bases on the year. Seven in the month of September.

Starting Pitchers:
Trevor Rogers– Has a nice start this week versus the Red Sox and a two-start week after that.

Mitch Keller– Keller is almost back from the IL and should be stashed.

Relievers:
Jeremy Jeffress– Jeffress appears to be the lead candidate for saves in Chicago moving forward and is still widely available.

Greg Holland– Holland will get the majority of the saves in Kansas City, though that won’t be a lot.

Tony Watson– I don’t trust Watson, but he is getting the saves in San Francisco and there is no one else in that bullpen worth trusting.

Julio Teheran vs ARI, vs TEX
Michael Wacha at PHI, vs ATL
Josh Lindblom vs STL, vs KC
