The majority of MLB starting pitchers have still made just one start, but in your Ottoneu leagues (actually, in all your leagues), managers are making decisions about who to speculate on. Is that first great start a sign of the next Kyle Wright breakout? Or another Kyle Gibson (9.51 P/IP in his first start; 3.35 the rest of the way)? With just one start, it is hard to know who you can trust, but if you wait until you are sure, someone else will have grabbed these arms already. Who should you bid on and who should you pass?

While the NFBC Main Event garners most of the attention, there are a handful of leagues with even a larger entry fee ($2.5K to $15K). They get originally named “High Stakes Leagues” and this year there are nine of them. With so much money on the line, these fantasy managers are going to try to gain any advantage. Most of the time, these managers will be a week or two ahead of everyone else on their adds. Here are the players and some information on the ones added in four or more of these leagues. Note: There has been a minor change to the CBS numbers in that they only mark players moving 4% or more. There were plenty of options at the 4% threshold this week, but there might not be as many later in the season. Hopefully this limit drops as the season goes on.

With most of the NFBC High Stake leagues drafting over the last 10 days or so, there was many moves made on Sunday. While I will look at the few players added in multiple leagues, I’ll look at the players added in at least 20 of the 12-team NFBC Online Championships. I don’t have a good feel on who will or won’t be available on waiver wires this weekend. I normally look at players who are rostered in 40% or fewer CBS leagues, but I bumped up the number to ~50%. I gave Yahoo a look and the only players moving a lot are some of the relievers featured below. For that reason, I will take requests for players in the comments to place them in the above list and add them to the rankings Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

With just three days to go, I didn’t focus on any long-term values. It’s all who can help a team this week. My main focus was on ranking the projected starters who are rostered in under 40% of leagues.
