Sometime in the next few days, The Daily Grind Invitational will be replaced with a freeroll. Said freeroll will have a small cash prize for the winner. That’s fine. Whatever. Freerolls are ok. Notably, the performance of the freeroll will be used to determine the proper size and scope for a TDG daily GPP. And, if I get my way, it will be a no rake GPP. So… start stretching or warming up or whatever you need to do to get ready. Zack Wheeler was one of the few pitchers who threw Friday I wanted to see how he performed after missing the two months last year with an arm injury. It was only an inning of work and the camera angle was rough but he looked fine. Here are his pitch velocity’s from the broadcast radar gun.
