Pivetta’s BABIP is .447…
And some of it’s bad luck, but BABIP isn’t a luckometer. He’s pitched terribly. His FIP is 5.05. It’d be one thing if all his skills were the same or better and the BABIP was just sky-high, but he’s been much worse and toting that mega BABIP.
