Speaking of Alvarez:
When Mike Trout was 29 he played in 36 games
30 he played in 119 games
31 he played in 82 games
32 he played in 29! games
33 he played in 130 games
at 34 he is estimated to be in 131
Alvarez is estimated to be in 134 games next year, that has to be his ceiling, looking at the numbers concerning Trout

Projecting games played using a sample with n=1, where the sample used has no discernible correlation or connection to the population to be projected. This is some sound statistical analysis right here.
