Topics
- What’s the earliest draft you do and how do you prepare for it?
- How do you use projections? Do you have a favorite system (if so, why?) Are you wildly capable and making your own?
- Speaking of projections, let’s talk about using the auction calculator in projections and how it informs your process. Are you using the AC to determine value points in a draft? To inform your KDS? For tiers or rankings?
- Position Scarcity: How do you see it this year? Is it impacting your strategy? Which positions/why?
- Changing Landscape from 2023: How is it impacting category targets that inform your draft? Particularly for SB, HR, W, but really any category
- Do you use draft software or some other system to track categories during a draft or do you just have a good feel for it? When do you adjust in a draft?
- Lightning Round: Top priorities for KDS this year and where you want to draft if given your first picks? Do you mock draft for particular positions in the draft?
- When do you transition from ADP informing strategy to just get your guys? Does it change based on where you are drafting? Middle/End?
- Early round strategy: Do you plan out the first few rounds? How modular do you go with that? I call this the “Choose your own adventure” draft strategy.
- Lightning round: One guy you are avoiding in the top 3 rounds?
- Middle round strategy: Are you fixing early round misses, building on strengths?
- Late round strategy: Draft guys with jobs? With upside? Easy drops for the first FAAB period.
- Lightning round: One guy you’re targeting with an ADP after 300
