Archive for Roto Riteup

Yesterday saw Avengers: Age of Ultron go live in theaters in select European countries, with more joining the list throughout the coming week. In my amateur opinion the first Avengers was grand and raised expectations for the follow up. In a week we’ll see if the hype was worth it as the domestic release is May 1.

On today’s agenda:
1. Hotter than Kolten lava
2. A (far too early) Steven Souza humble brag
3. Alex Guerrero, pinch hitter
4. Streaming pitching options

Despite baseball being my favorite sport, I frequently enjoy watching the U.S. national team. Last night’s friendly against Mexico wasn’t particularly pretty — the poor condition of the field made sure of that — but it was good entertainment while writing today’s Roto Riteup.

On today’s agenda:
1. Garrett Richards may return on Sunday
2. Quick thoughts on Odubel Herrera
3. Yasmany Tomas gets called up
4. Streaming Pitching Options

With tax season rapidly closing, my only advice on the matter is to watch Sunday’s Last Week Tonight about the IRS. In fact, watch all of the LWT’s, as they are all available on YouTube.

On today’s agenda:
1. Keep an eye on Devin Mesoraco
2. A jolt of speed from Desmond Jennings
3. Take note of Kendrys Morales and Mark Teixeira
4. Streaming Pitcher Options

Before getting started with today’s Roto Riteup, check out the band Modern Baseball. While their music doesn’t pertain to the game of baseball, it is nonetheless quite enjoyable and their track Your Graduation (warning: language) recently passed the million view mark on YouTube.

On today’s agenda:
1. Shane Greene’s impressive outing
2. The efficient Anthony DeSclafani
3. Let’s talk about Alex Rodriguez
4. Streaming Pitching Options

Today’s Roto Riteup was co-written by my roommate’s cat, who “helped” by continually jumping on the keyboard.

1. Avisail Garcia is positioned for success
2. Quick thoughts on Jake Lamb
3. Adrian Gonzalez numbers that make me laugh
4. Streaming Pitching Options

Even yesterday’s rain out couldn’t get this baseball fan’s feelings down. On the other hand, owning Mat Latos got me sad after his 0.2 inning outing anyways.

On today’s agenda:
1. The boring yet dependable Nick Markakis
2. Update on the Yasmany Tomas watch
3. Matt Cain to the disabled list
4. Streaming Pitching Options
