GM: Should I keep Ben Brown in a 14 team dynasty or cut for Wesneski.

Jeff Zimmerman: Yes. I think Brown heads to the pen once/if everyone gets healthy

What About Whitlock?: Smart to grab him now before he costs a lot? Over Wesneski?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d go with Wesneski and see if the changes stick.

Next NL Prospects?: Any thoughts on the next NL impact prospects to get promoted?    Besides Skenes, Acuna?   others?   Thank you

Jeff Zimmerman: Also, while Knack is no longer in the majors, he’s worth a stash in deeper leagues. He’s talented and the Dodgers have shown they will use him.

Toddimus: Hi Jeff, could you rank with your SP preference for 15 team NFBC: Wesneski, Jose Soriano, Slade, Tobias Myers, Arrighetti, Jack Leiter.

Jeff Zimmerman: Wesneski, Slade, Spaghetti, and I don’t care for the others.

Soler Flare – Extinguinshed?: Soler sat for Wilmer at DH tonight against RHP. His actual and expected stats are trash. Time to cut bait for hot bat streamer types in 12 teamers? Q for both roto and points, unfortunately.

Jeff Zimmerman: Go look on your wire for HR talent, if there is some drop Soler. If not hold. With so little power out there, it’s worth stashing any power source

TZ: What % of budget if Jack Flaherty available in 15 teamer NFBC?

Jeff Zimmerman: WTF

Jeff Zimmerman: Easily, especially with the 1B on the wire in deeper leagues.

Guest: Bradish, C. Scott, and Means all available. What amount of FAAB for them?  I have 820 left and am in first place.  Will be dropping lesser pitchrs

Jeff Zimmerman: Personally, I think Bradish is the best option but will go for less. I think it will take $250, $150, and $75 to win them

h2h pts: how would you rank king civale csanchez ros given their slow starts? are any worse than taj woo baz scott ashcraft?

Jeff Zimmerman: I think both are fine. Of the guys listed, I’d add Scott over either one.

RGM: In a daily 1-C league league with a DH, is it crazy to roster jeffers when I already have a good catcher?

KCC26: is it just me or has hitting been really weird this year?  I’ve already cut several of my mid-round picks (round 9-15 range) in a 12-teamer.  feel like lots of guys are struggling.  usually this time of year im rostering extra SP trying to find a pop up arm.  this year i’m doing it with bats…

Jeff Zimmerman: The offensive environment seems down but everyone is dealing with it. I’m still trying to find 9 to 10 reliable starters and then I can move to hitters.

Berra8: Own Meadows in two leagues. Amazing how they keep throwing him out there with what he’s done. Hate to drop him with the price I have. What would you do?

Jeff Zimmerman: I dropped him a couple of weeks ago. I found better options on the wire.

Some Guy: How much do you think Berti plays in NY? (scraping the bottom of the barrel in an AL only)

Jeff Zimmerman: Very little but we’ll see. Guessing 2 to 3 times a week.

GM: Time to panic on detmers?

Jeff Zimmerman: I had to look. I’d hold but possibly not start. Everything of his looks good but the last few starts.

Murray: Steamer 600 has Willie Calhoun as a 15-20 HR guy with a .250 AVG.  Seems like he is getting solid ABs in LA with Trout/Rendon out. Worth grabbing in a AL only league? Or not worth the trouble?

KCBBq: Would you hold onto Baz $2 in a 12 team 5×5 H2H AL only keeper league? Or try to replace with Soriano or Paddack via FAAB. I’m 1-4 and likely 1-5 by this time next week. Close to setting up for next season so Baz might be a good keeper.

Jeff Zimmerman: Move on. Both are decent options.

Jeff Zimmerman: Thanks. I have no idea on Bradley but he has shoved before. If he isn’t added now, the chance to get him will pass.

Panik! At the Disco: I’m tempted by coming-off-the-IL SPs such as Bradish or Taj. Cut Eovaldi for one of ’em?  Rest of my SPs are Framber, Bryce Miller, M. King, Houck, Skenes, and Gerrit.

Jeff Zimmerman: Cut Eovaldi or King for Bradish. I’d cut the other for Taj

Carl: best guess, is scott going to be in the rotation, assuming he doesn’t implode?

Jeff Zimmerman: Probaby, but don’t be surprised if the start in a one and done

Peter: In a redraft 12 tm 5×5 league, who should I drop Nolan Jones or Wyatt Langford? Need some roster flexibility.

Jeff Zimmerman: Yes, but you can’t be mad with yourself if they take off. I’m starting to make some tough cuts myself

The Batman: In a 12 team 5×5 (average), who do you cut assuming there’s offense worth picking up: Winker or Nootbaar? Preseason brain says Winker; but Noot is unplayable so far and hasn’t shown much reason to keep him around while Winker has been solid.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d cut both if the talent on the wire is better.

Jeff Zimmerman: If you look at the Tout Wars bids, he averaged $60 per bid, some people love him, just not me
