The Batman: It’s safe to assume that Spencer Turnbull is just a drop in a 12 team 5×5, right? Lots of good options out there’s, he’s just been so lights out it seems wild to drop him.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m holding with the way Walker got lit up today. I’m just holding Turnbull as if he was an injury stash.

Dorb: McCormick has been awful with bad underlying data and is losing playing time to Dubon. Safe to drop for Nootbaar?

Jeff Zimmerman: Sure

Jeff Zimmerman: Yes and yes.

Jeff Zimmerman: I already have him rostered. Could be a nice source of 30 steals

Choice: If you had to chose one player for 10 tm 5×5 for ROS who would you chose and why..options are :India, Rengfio, Luis Garcia Jr., Wilymer Abreu, Winker, Nootbaar…

Jeff Zimmerman: Garcia. Playing time is there and the underlying skill look legit

joe: when will max meyer be back up and is he worth stashing until then?

Jeff Zimmerman: No idea and probably not

Guest: Hunter Gaddis back to back bad appearances, enough to knock the setup role? Good yahoo player due to SP,RP and my strategy is chasing the SV+H

Jeff Zimmerman: I don’t hold anyone in SV + Hld. I like Champman for next week. Rested and vs a week schedule

Al Bundy: Pickup Keaton Winn and drop Maton or Severino? QS, Saves and holds league. I could use some help at SP if they can get the QSs.

Jeff Zimmerman: Winn has some tough opponents coming up so he may not be startable. That said, I’d drop Maton to add him

Ryan: Chas Mccormick a drop with the loperfido news?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d hold for a week. He might be taking Abreu’s spot

JoeG: John Means or Taj Bradley as a FAAB add ?

Jeff Zimmerman: Bradley. I’m not sure Means is a good pitcher.

Frank: Turnbull, Means, or Ashcraft rest of season?

Jeff Zimmerman: Turnbull and Ashcraft are close. Ashcraft now because he has a job. Means is a distance third

Dan: I have Josh Hader in a Sv+Holds league. I’m wondering how long to hold onto him with RPs like Jason Foley, Joel Payamps, Hunter Gaddis and Daniel Hudson on the wire (10 team league) who at least for now are delivering better results. Your thoughts?

Jeff Zimmerman: With those other options, stream the other guys.

Rico Carty: Can Brenton Doyle keep this up?

Jeff Zimmerman: No, but that’s what a week and a half of hitting in a good stadium can do

qane: For the last two or three spots of my rotation (16 team roto) — Sanchez, Tyler Anderson, Butto, Braxton Garrett, Taj Bradley, Mikolas — are these all streamers, or anyone who (when healthy) you think is/will be a must start?

Jeff Zimmerman: Not sure what Sanchez (Chris Sanchez is close to a must start) but anyone else is streamer

Roi: Lifetime keeper league.  Lost Casas.  Loaded in OF.  Should I trade C Carroll for M Olson?

Jeff Zimmerman: No, not with the age difference

BlueJayMatt: What are some resources to find updates on player injury status? My outfield is an absolute shambles, need some good news soon

KCBBq: Need to replace Cannon and Jose Soriano in a 12 team AL only 5×5 league. How much would you bid on Maeda and Suarez (caveat is will he stay in the rotation)? Or for one of them bid on a RP such as Cleavinger?

Jeff Zimmerman: 5% on Maeda and 2% on Suarez

cart316: How much % of FAAB should I spend on Leasure of CHW?

Jeff Zimmerman: 1%

Tommy Pham: What % am I worth in a 5×5 AL only to a team that is in desperate need of offense?

Jeff Zimmerman: 25% or more. I could see 50% being worth it. Managers drop higher percentages at the trade deadline.

HappyFunBall: Need a CI/3B. Was hoping it could be Wisdom but he’s not playing every day. Can you rank, please, Wisdom, Castro, Rojas, or should I go get Senzel while he’s momentarily healthy?

Jeff Zimmerman: CI is a nightmare right now. I don’t like any of them. See if Vierling or Freeman is available.

Guest: Tork or Ty France for 1st in 4×4? Tork’s slow start is killing me

Jeff Zimmerman: France is not much better. I’d hold Tork

Guest: Cut or Hold Hunter Brown in 12’s?

Jeff Zimmerman: I did a few weeks ago.

KCBBq: You get the feeling it’s only a matter of time before Kjerstad gets sent back down? Worth a sub $5 FAAB to stash on reserve?

Jeff Zimmerman: I think they might keep him on their bench. I’d speculate elsewhere.

Tony 2 Chains: Drop Stanton for Fraley and/or O’Hearn?

Jeff Zimmerman: I think so for Fraley

Need Wisdom: What do I do at Joe Musgrove?

Jeff Zimmerman: I don’t have any Musgrove shares so let me go look…

Jeff Zimmerman: … it has been rough. I currently have him as a bench streamer option. If I drop him, I’d make sure it was for a decent upgrade

Erik: Are you keeping Conforto as he cools off or streaming the position with hot players like Adell, Jacob Young or Senzel?

Jeff Zimmerman: With those WW options, I’d stream the spot

ROS Rob: thank you for these weekly chats, Jeff! Currently sitting in 5th place of a 13 team weekly 5×5 league. Currently have Dominguez, Baz, Devin Williams & McLain on IL with Caminero & Loperfido NA’d. Besides Skeenes, which pitcher should we be looking to stash/pick up before it’s too late?

Jeff Zimmerman: Black (SF), Gasser (MIL), Festa (MIN), or Povich (BAL)

Guest: is Larnach having a breakout?

Jeff Zimmerman: He’s always be good against righties and the Twins have faced a bunch

Jim: Can you rank Garver, Jeffers, Ruiz, and Stephenson?

Jeff Zimmerman: See who has the best projection and stream them. With those options, I’d not hold one for the entire season.

Josh: Mervis or Jose Miranda for CI?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d go with Mervis for now but I’m worried about his playing time once the rest of the team gets healthy.

Jeff Zimmerman: Depends on how desperate others are. The Kimbrel managers will be on the prowl for a replacement. Guessing $50 to $150.

Jeff Zimmerman: Look hard at your team and see if you think you can win. If not, the first team to sell usually gets the best deals.

Jeff Zimmerman: I guess you didn’t listen to my pod this week when I called him one of the biggest busts in the game. I’m guessing he’ll go in the $100+ range after Saturday’s game

Stan: Expectations for Bradish on his return…a must-start?

Jeff Zimmerman: I don’t know if I’ll start him week one. I’m a little worried the team may limit his pitches and follow him with Suarez.

MTC: Is Brett Baty droppable in a 15 teamer? Been awful.

Jeff Zimmerman: Depends on who you think is better. In a few leagues, I’d love to have Baty as one of my corner options.

Jeff Zimmerman: Before he got hurt, he was going around pick 250 to 300.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d cut Alzolay or Hoffman for him for him

Some Guy: Pitching/hitting needs fairly equal: would you prefer Larnach, Woods-Richardson, or stash Orelvis?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d take a chance on Woods

Squibber: Is Gleyber injured, or just this bad?

Jeff Zimmerman: My working theory. He got hit back in one of the first few games and had to come out. Instead of letting the injury heal, he was back in the next game. He had to adjust to the injury and created bad habits.

James: 12 teamer-drop Outman for W.Abreu?

Jeff Zimmerman: Sort of rearranging deck chairs. Just go with the one who has the best weekly projection.

Guest: Is butto a hold or week to week streamer

Jeff Zimmerman: He’s a streamer. In some leagues it’s from the bench. In others it’s from the wire.

Mike: How much FAAB for Loperfido now that he’s called up?

Jeff Zimmerman: Insane. In the NFBC, I suspect $300 but that could go up depending on the week he has

James: How much FAAB  should put on slade cecconi  and Trevor Larnach  ? Where do you value them long term in dynasty??

Jeff Zimmerman: Larnach will go for more than I’m willing to pay. I think both are 1% addes

Blaze: Is our boy BLAZE a drop in a 15 team? Lovullo is basically refusing to play him, even though he’s been hitting.

Jeff Zimmerman: Unfortunately, yes. The lack of playing time is a killer

Jack: Falters has a two step with Oakland and Colorado next week. Do you trust him over Trevor Rogers and his two step with the Nats and Oak?

Jeff Zimmerman: Why not both? Depending ont he results of FAAB, I could be doing it.

Bryan: What are your expectations for Loperfido?

Jeff Zimmerman: Probably too high. I went and added him in the four leagues I could a couple weeks ago

David: Someone just dropped Garret Crochet in my 5×5. Do I drop George Springer to claim Crochet off waivers?

Jeff Zimmerman: No, don’t drop Springer for him

JB: Skenes is suddenly available in a 12 team $1000 FAAB budget how much $$ will it take to get him?

Jeff Zimmerman: $200+, might even take more
