Jeff Zimmerman: I wouldn’t. Guys coming back from TJS struggle with command but there just aren’t many options.

Roi: Should I start Goodman with the 7 Coors starts over N Lowe this week?  Also, same logic, should I start Blackmon over Yoshida?

Jeff Zimmerman: I looked at Razzball’s projections and they have Lowe and Goodman in a dead head with Balckmon way over Yoshida

2024: Thx for your help throughout 2023!  Do you think Luis Matos will be a significant fantasy contributor in 2024?

Jeff Zimmerman: No because I just don’t know how much he’ll play. It’s tough to be a contributor when the max PA is 400.

Roi: Confidence level that Pepiot will be joining the rotation for ROS?

Jeff Zimmerman: Zero, they seem to be doing this mixing and matching, especially with Stone getting a start

Wes: Any love for kepler or Wallner with 7 righties on tap this week?

Jeff Zimmerman: Yes, and Castro

Mike: How comfortable are you with Gavin Williams in a two-start week in H2H playoffs when the second one is against Tex.?  I could start Bobby Miller instead, but I am potentially giving away a lot of Ks by doing so.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m probably going with Williams. It’s one of the situations where you just have to go with the best option and hope for the best. Sucks that the whole season might come down to this one choice

Roi: Is K Wright a viable start this week if he is confirmed as the gm 2 starter tomorrow, which could line him up for possible 2-step?  Pitch count limit likely in the 60 range I would guess?

Jeff Zimmerman: He was at 50 P, 3.2 IP in his last rehab start. I’d prefer not to but the other options might be worse. About no chance for a Win.

lovethepod: Would you prefer starting Pepiot vs SD or Harrison vs CLE?

Jeff Zimmerman: Pepiot

Jorge Soler: Is he coming back at all or should I just drop him with 3 weeks left?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m dropping in a league or two where I don’t need the HR. In others, I’m holding. He’s eligible to come off the IL next week and I’ll decide then to see if he stays.

Jeff Zimmerman: There just aren’t many power bats to get those last two weeks.

Gabe: Used FAAB money to pick up Heaney…and he gets moved to the ‘pen! Don’t know if he makes his Sat. start. Need another SP for playoffs. Thinking JP France, Little, or Olson. Leaning toward France. Your thoughts?

Jeff Zimmerman: That one sucks and there seems to be more of the two starts, but one is horrible. My one issue with this one is that if something goes wrong, you’ll miss the second start.

Mike: Are you starting or sitting Andres Munoz in a weekly league in H2H playoffs where you need saves (replacement is likely Will Smith, who may get none)?  His unavailability today makes me uncomfortable.

Jeff Zimmerman: Probably go with Munoz, but might look to see if Brash is on the wire. Brash > Smith and if Munoz doesn’t pitch, you have a closer for the week.

Chuck: McMahon (home all week) or Gelof for my H2H playoffs?

Jeff Zimmerman: There is a talent concern with me. No hitter has successfully come back from plantar fasciitis to previous levels. Also, I don’t expect India to run much.

Rodon: hello. Would you drop Rodon (two step) and pickup Quintana for two step? Need wins! Thanks!

Jeff Zimmerman: I like Rodon’s two-step more. I’m not a fan of Quintana at all and think two two-step could be a disaster.

AL Only 5th OF: UGH….Who do you “like” of Badoo, Jankowski, Dylan Moore, Andrew Stevenson, Ryan McKenna?

Jeff Zimmerman: Baddoo, at least getting 3 starts from him.

Greg: Trust Andre Jackson (WAS, NYY) or Jordan Wicks (at COL, at ARI) for 2 start weeks?

Jeff Zimmerman: They aren’t my #1 choices but compared to other options, I’m at least going to start each one in a league this week. I’m probably leaning Wick

Clarence: Thanks for always doing these! Q- barely in first place in a 15tm keeper. With an eye to both this season and next, would you swap out either of Winn or Rafaela for Lawler?

H2H Playoff Head: 1 start Strider (now due to his DTD status) or 2 start Kutter Crawford

NIck: 15 teamer. Garver available to slot in at catcher. Out of $1000 budget I still have almost $70 still left. What kind of bid would you throw down?

Jeff Zimmerman: $25. You might need to go more depending on how much others have

Get Carter: Evan Carter is nice in obp league. Take him ahead of Wallner or Nelson Vazquez in that format? Need obp but also power.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m worried about his playing time, especially when Garcia comes off the IL

CML: In third place and desperate for a handful more SB (next teams are 1, 1, 5, and 11 ahead of me, realistically need to gain 2 or 3 points to have a shot at the title), rank the following options: Bader, Turang, Waters, McCormick. Positions don’t matter much but other offensive categories do (OPS league). Thank you!
