Jeff Zimmerman: These will be streamers so I’d go with Brash who hasn’t thrown in a couple days and has 7 games next week

Eric: Are jp France and or jp Sears worth rostering in general and with their upcoming favorable two start weeks? Thank you.

Jeff Zimmerman: They are not must roster guys. The key will be the replacement available on the wire.

The Balls Percentage: If you need volume badly in a 15 team league, are you starting Whitlock this week (1 start v OAK on Fri) or benching for a riskier starter (eg Miley 2step vs Cubs, Reds both in MIL)

Jeff Zimmerman: If volume it the only factor, go with Miley

Jose miranda: Am I worth considering in redraft formats?

Jeff Zimmerman: The Lewis manager will be interested.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m not sure he’s that much better than Segura

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d go with Olson over Lynn right now. In a 12-team AL-only, both should be rostered.

O’Neill curious: Any good DL stashes for this week? Painter? O’Neill? Story?

Jeff Zimmerman: I ran comps early and he is a little better. He’s just not someone I’ll come close to breaking the bank on.

KCbbq: Continuing with your answer on Olson and Lynn both being rostered. Would you drop Swanson for Olson instead? I can’t bench Lynn as I’d have to drop one of Story, Judge, Royce Lewis or Bryce Miller.

Michael Scott: Kolby Allard and Soroka are starting at CLE this week.  Would you take a chance on either?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m not sure about starting them. I’d prefer to hold for a game or two more to get a better idea of their talent (I am starting Allard in Tout Wars because we have to start all adds)

Jeff Zimmerman: No idea on Allard. These results are out of nowhere. Sanchez has been productive with a good team.

Jeff Zimmerman: Maybe Frelick? I will look hard at prospects at the All-Star break. In one league, it’s the time to add them.

Mike: First time on here, these questions pertain to H2H points league. Colin Rea and Ryne Nelson have been big the last couple of weeks, how do you feel about them going forward, over Mikolas and Kyle Gibson.

Jeff Zimmerman: I would sit with the two you have but I’m not a fan of Rea and Nelson as permanent features. I feel they are more likely streamers depending the opponent. Lorezen is a decent available streamer this week.

Jeff Zimmerman: I think so, it’s a mess. I was going to give him a week to see how it works out. I’m not planning on starting him this week.

Paul: Sometimes you downgrade platoon bats (and I’m assuming here) because of the weekly lineup thing. How much more value does a strong-side guy like a Benson carry with daily lineups? Broad question I know. Thanks!

Jeff Zimmerman: These platoon bats can be huge values in daily leagues. It comes down to how many bench spots you have to work with. Lots of times in daily leagues, teams are hoarding pitchers. A combo of Benson and Pederson would make a great hitter.
