feddy: Top mid week streams in my league are Hoffman, Weathers, Junis, Widener (i know, crazy!) are hoffman and junis def the top 2

Duff Beer: When do you cut a cheap arm in a mono keeper league? Would you cut a $1 Justus Sheffield (facing LAD then probably HOU) for Danny Duffy?

Jeff Zimmerman: That’s probably the right move, but it sucks. I know in the past that the lack of options makes me just ride out the bad start

feddy: Asdrubal, Enrique, Duvall or Moran long term?

Jeff Zimmerman: Enrique is a distance #1 for this season

feddy: Time to move on from Phillip Evans, Nate Lowe, and Johnathon India in 12 team OBP?

Jeff: When should we expect to see the call-ups of Nolan Jones or Brandon Marsh? Is there any chance they would be called before May/super2?

Jeff Zimmerman: I think Marsh could be soon. As for the Jones, the Super-2 date is more likely

Tanner and Hyde: Cut Tanner Scott for Kendall Graveman in AL only? I have Scott for $1 but care more about winning than keepers.

Jeff Zimmerman: Yes

41Base: D. German was dropped in my league. Should I buy low and stash him on the bench, or would guys like Fedde, Fleming, Bumgarner, C. Martinez, K. Wright be better options?

Jeff Zimmerman: Drop almost all of them for German. I’m pretty sure his start is just getting skipped

Esteban: Shocked to find Dansby Swanson dropped in my 12 teamer.  Thoughts on a FAAB % to put on him?

Jeff Zimmerman: 20% at least. You might need to look at where other owners stand and adjust to at least “beat” the owners with lower totals.

Kate: Picked up fulmer for a buck earlier this week after his first start when I saw the increased velo stick.  Was surprised I didnt see more people jumping back in on him.  You’re the first person I saw who appears to see what I saw.  Assuming he sticks with the current plan (less fb, more SL/CH), do you think he can up the K rate from where it was at pre-TJ?

Jeff Zimmerman: We’ll see. I’m wondering if some experts are keeping quite and hoping to sneak him on for the cheap

Kate: Where would you have jeff Hoffman among the arms you mentioned in you’re write up?  Normally I would just ignore him, but the fact that its cincys pitching coaches with their hands on him is making me pause.

Jeff Zimmerman: Sorry, but checking bids is the first thing I do after this chat. Missing out on some is fine, but bidding $700 vs $70 can be fatal

Vic: Is Gore getting close to getting the call in SD?

Jeff Zimmerman: I don’t know. He’s not getting the call because of control issues. The Padres might be waiting for minor league games to see if he can get it together.

JP: Colin Moran and/or Travis Shaw:  how much faab %?

Jeff Zimmerman: 3% and I like Shaw but Moran is fine.

DarkHorse: Who are a few of your favorite dark horse RP to bid on this week, with hopes they could close by next weekend?  Brogdon? Middleton?

Jeff Zimmerman: The only non-obvious options are in StL (Reyes velo down, Mining the News) and Givens (Bard has been bad).

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d have him higher long term but the 5 games kills his value this week.

Sir Farts A Lot: Is it okay to run out of FAAB before the All-Star break in $0 bid league? Because that’s where I’m headed, but it’s not my fault; other coaches keep dropping players they shouldn’t. What am I supposed to do, not bid on them?

Jeff Zimmerman: Sure. I’m more aggressive in those leagues or in leagues where I can trade FAAB.

Smokey: Is Max Kepler worth holding onto in 12-team H2H with standard 5 categories plus OPS and Ks?

I can pick up Votto, Grichuk, A. Garcia, K. Calhoun. I just don’t see Kepler reaching his 2019 numbers again.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m not sure how the other categories change valuations but I would for Garcia until the rest of the Brewers outfield returns healthy

Thistleweezy: A couple arms dropped and available in our NFBC ME and not in any other — Marco Gonzales and Tejay Antone. Bid amounts for these types? Don’t want to overpay but both feel like strong rest-of-season prospects.
