Jeff Zimmerman: I’d try to attack the teams who are still trying to make the playoffs. I’d not be surprised if Shawn Armstrong gets several Saves to finish the season.

JoeG14: Connelly Early Worth an add / stream for Tuesday vs A’s ?

Jeff Zimmerman: Yes, I’m going to try to add him in a few leagues. The options are starting to dry up.

Deep AL Only: Who are your sleeper SP picks for wins this week in the deepest of AL only format?

Jeff Zimmerman: Gomez of the White Sox. Against SD (Vasquez). I like what he is doing but don’t I’m hoping for other options.

sactownlarry: Ward’s been cold as ice. Would you swap him out for Burger, Barger, Bader (tough LAD visit) or E. Clement. Thank you

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d be fine dropping Ward for everyone but Clement

Mike: Are Kittridge and Vest reasonable saves option where my opponent has two similar options?  I could punt the category and overload with holds in a H2H where saves and holds are separate categories, but I hate to punt a category and Kittridge was great this week.

Jeff Zimmerman: In all fairness, he might try the same thing. I’d try to run out the best pitchers (K/9, ERA, WHIP) so if you don’t win Saves and Holds, you help yourself in those categories.

Chuckie: Playoffs are here. Show me the money. Time to sit ELDC? Sentimentality aside, he’s been brutal.

BPA001: Better SPARP option in H2H this week : Kolek, Ginn, Ascraft, Latz?

Jeff Zimmerman: Latz then Kolek. Ascraft is doing some kind of piggyback starts, and Ginn is hurt

Jeff Zimmerman: You’re welcome. I’d have a backup from a team who starts his week on Tuesday, so you can swap him out if Neto is hurt.

PLAYOFF!: Hey Jeff, thanks for doing these all season—they’ve been a huge help. As I make a playoff push, could you rank these power bats for the next two weeks: Mickey Moniak, Tyler O’Neill, Jake Burger, Coby Mayo, and S Stewart?

Jeff Zimmerman: Burger ……huge gap …… TON, Moniak, Mayo, Stewart.

Chucky: Need wins and Ks. There’s nothing on the wire. Should I drop Framber for Kolek, Elder, or Soriano?

Jeff Zimmerman: No … maybe. The one that interests me is Soriano who might have two starts in the final week.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m starting Wells in several leagues

Jeff Zimmerman: If I need to make up ground, I’d roll with Taillon. Those two starts could be huge.

BPA001: Ascraft is named as tomorrow starter, roll him over Latz?

Jeff Zimmerman: If they don’t plan on limiting him

Chucky: Any suggestions for steals after Caballero, who was picked up last night

Jeff Zimmerman: McCarthy, up against six righties this week.  Mangum and Robles are also options

ross: Looking at the top two batters on your WW Report — Burger and Bader — would you drop Matt Shaw or Torkelson for either of them?

Jeff Zimmerman: I might do Shaw for Burger

That’s not fishing: Did you see the Big Amish slam? The 493 footer? After the correction comes, what do you think reasonable expectations for next year are?

Jeff Zimmerman: My numbers have him for mid-40’s home run power.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m going to have to dig in more once the season is done.

Normie15: Trey Yesavage being recalled by the Blue Jays for tomorrow is he a viable two start option this week?

Jeff Zimmerman: No … checking his usage

Jeff Zimmerman: I don’t see him going over 4 IP.

Jeff Zimmerman: Also, I’m worried about the walks. Hopefully with two weeks left in the season, but rotation is set and I don’t have to rely on the rookie.

Bake: Drop Neto for keaschall or burger in a weekly points league for utility position Since Neto is 🤷🏻‍♂️ this week.

Sal: Thanks for the chats all year. How much FAAB in a 15 teamer do you want to have for next Sunday night? ($1000 starting NFBC type league)

Jeff Zimmerman: If leading, $20, if behind $10. I’ve got a team I’m making 9 moves this week, so I want to be able to do 10 the last week. So many roster changes and dead options. In in the lead, you need to spend $2 to beat everyone or you’ll end up with the worse options.

Jeff Zimmerman: Note on two-start guys. If you can, add as many of the good ones as possible to keep them away from your opponents. If you don’t plan on starting a starter, drop the non-starter and take an option off the board.

Guest: we running out Alexander for two starts this week

Jeff Zimmerman: Damn right

Billy: will Early get 2 starts this week?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m not sure. I would no count on it.

Stan: assuming Early will stay in BOS rotation…pick 1 – Early 3 remaining starts (ATH, @ TB, DET) or Seymour (TOR, BOS, @ TOR)

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m not counting on those starts to end next week. With just two starts, I’d lean Early

KCBBq: Playing for 2026. 12 team AL only 5×5 H2H keeper league using OPS. Keep 8. $260 team salary 30-35% inflation for top 1/4. Have Rice $18 and Neto $26. Are either keepable? I have $6 FAAB left. Two others at $7 and $11. Would you drop either and hope you can get either for $6 or too risky?

Jeff Zimmerman: Too risky.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’ll make stand now. As people dig into Rice, he’ll start climbing up draft boards and I’ll not be surprised if he’s going in the 5th or 6th round in 15’s as the 2nd or 3rd C off the board.

Mike: Trust Strider in what might be a two-start week.  My opponent has three two-start pitchers.

Jeff Zimmerman: You have to go for it.

KCBBq: Do you think Marcelo Meyer will be Boston’s starter at 2B (3B if Bregman doesn’t return)? Was going to drop him tonight and try to pick back up for $6 or less. This is a 12 team AL only H2H 5×5 keeper league. $260 team salary and 30%ish draft day inflation. Two other owners have $7 and $11 but I’m thinking I can get him back for sub $5. Main concern is his injury history.

Jeff Zimmerman: I would not throw him out there. He has shown the skills of a top-20 hitter. I wouldn’t take the chance

Relievers: Do you have any favorites from the morass of these al only relievers? Saves only league, but WHIP is nice. Whitlock, Sands, Grant Taylor, Sabrowski, Cano, Maton? Thanks!

Jeff Zimmerman: No. I’d just go with the most talented and highest gLI (win probability tab)

Noah Cameron: I cut Noah Cameron after his scuffles and with Philly on the schedule. But maybe I should jump back in? Gets TOR in KC this week. Him or Tyler Wells?

Jeff Zimmerman: Melton is a good one. Keep your eye on Yesavage. Toronto talked about using him as a long reliever out of the bullpen.

ever hopeful: Any $1 dart throws for a deep OBP keeper league to track during the offseason?

Jeff Zimmerman: I like Jerar Encarnacion but he’s rough in OBP leagues.

Jeff Zimmerman: Go after all the half to three-quarter guys in Toronto (e.g., Luke, Schneider (sp?), etc). I could see one getting traded into a full-time job.
