arcM: Jeff, playoffs start next week in my H2H Points league, and I just lost Willson Contreras. Roster spots are limited, but there is no cap on IP or starts. Is it crazy to consider adding another starter (Quintana, Assad, Zebby) instead of Del Castillo or O’Hoppe?

Jeff Zimmerman: Do the math for your league. Figure out he points you should get from catcher and from the suspect start

Yankee E: trust Stanton in H2H playoffs?  He could go 0 for the week, but seems to be in a better place this year.

Freddie Got Fingered: Freeman has looked off since deciding he would play through the hairline fracture in his finger. Is it dumb to sit him when my options for covering 1B and CI are Pasquantino, Burger, Muncy, and Caminero?

Jeff Zimmerman: Yes and you might end up with more Wins than the suspect starters.

Adenolith: For H2H playoffs, are you churning based on matchups, hot hands, or some combo of both?

Jeff Zimmerman: 100% matchups and projections. Same as every other week

JG: Is it time to drop Adolis for a hot bat like Laureano, Noel, Norby ? Deep roto

Jeff Zimmerman: I did in one league where I needed to improve in AVG. Morel is 100% droppable at this point.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m encouraged. This month will tell a lot if it is a permanent change.

Jeff Zimmerman: No, it’s a nice distraction when it starts. I just don’t have time to follow it in detail.

Dodger bullpen: Is Kopech worth adding as a SP bonus reliever going forward in roto leagues?  Will it be worth the roster spot for the ratios and possible saves + wins?

Jeff Zimmerman: Just drop Bassit for just about anyone. Heaney and Leiter are in many of my bid lists.

Jeff Zimmerman: I like Martin so you might need to ask someone else. I’m going to start Martin in several leagues.

Just Joe: If you’re not planning the 9 NFBC pitchers to start just by gut would you just filter the best opponents per OBP, OPS, etc.?

Jeff Zimmerman: FTN and Razzball player raters. Worth the $1 a week to use them

Deep Deep AL Only: Joey Cantillo worth a buck or two in al only?

HappyFunBall: Dynasty league. My team is aging so planning for future years. Trade Semien and Framber to pick up McLain and Yamamoto and a couple of lottery picks? Big lead and can afford the IR hit the rest of the way…

Jeff Zimmerman: I think you should be able to get more and just keep winning. McLain might never be productive

Matchup Martin: In a H2H playoff matchup, would you ride an arm like Darvish in his first start after a long layoff, or would you opt instead for  someone like Pfaadt with a much tougher matchup?  Same question- Darvish in his first start- or a Jake Irvin type with two good matchups that week?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d not start Darvish and go with Pfaadt

LenFuego: Could really use saves.  I have Faucher rostered, but not going to play him this week.  Would you rather have him, Hodge, or Uceta rostered for future weeks in case one “breaks out” as the for sure closer?

Bench Bats: In a dynasty league (14 team points) who would you cut among these bench pieces-  Dansby, Nolan Jones, Kerry Carpenter, or Austin Wells?

Jeff Zimmerman: Wells. Always cut catchers unless it’s the top five or so

Wes: Freddy P trustable in all matchups still? Playoff time. Feels bit random numbery at the moment

Jeff Zimmerman: So is every other starter

Jorge Lopez: Lots of Facuher and Hodge talk, but is Jorge the guy?
