Jeff Zimmerman: I’m not going to guess what the Rays will do. I can look at their lineups with no one moving and still have no clue what is going on.

Bill: Does the trade of Paredes open up a spot for Caminero?  Do you expect a call up soon?

Jeff Zimmerman: Figure out the day that the Rays get an extra year of control and they will promote him then. Not a day earlier.

Yankee E: Are you trusting Tanner Houck at his point?  Would likely start an extra reliever instead.

Jeff Zimmerman: I still would. I don’t move too fast off previous priors.

John: i have two dumpster fires for closers, Phillips and McCarthy. Is it time to move on with options like erceg and Joyce available or a starter like springs.

Jeff Zimmerman: Go for the starter. Hopefully some relief situations clarify this next week.

Yankee E: Where do players like Robles, B. Lowe, and Lux rank relative to Mullins?

Jeff Zimmerman: Right now, I’d roster all three over Mullins. Go Lowe, Robles, Lux

Trey: What do projections say the floor for T Fitzgerald looks like?

Jeff Zimmerman: An average major league hitter

Vern: Springs is back and Cobb is right behind him. 12-team QS. Drop two: Bello, Gore, Kikuchi. Or just rank them lol. ROS.

Jeff Zimmerman: I have your three ranked Kikuchi… Bello …. Gore. I’d drop Gore and probably Bello for the returning pair

Jay: This deadline has not been great. Paredes is in a bad ballpark. Arozarena too. Do I have any hope with Carlos Estevez? Maybe he gets 50%+ of save opps now?

Jeff Zimmerman: I think Hoffman and Estevez will start 50/50 and the first one who struggles, they other will be the closer.

KCBBq: Have 6 of 100 FAAB left. Probably won’t qualify for playoffs so looking at 2025. How much FAAB would you go for Morel or Bigge in 12 team AL only 5×5 H2H? Bigge sleeper closer next year?

Jeff Zimmerman: $1 for Morel only. Save these bullets. More options will happen next week

Jeff Zimmerman: Ray over Kershaw for me. As for bids, I think people will be aggressive depending the $$ left. Probably too aggressive considering they still need to make moves over the ROS. I think Ray will be around 10% of original and Kershaw at half that

Jeff Zimmerman: The TB trades. They are opening up some spots. Maybe someone will end up with a full-time job.

Jeff Zimmerman: No

Pop times: Any catchers you think will gain more playing time and become rosterable (2-C, 5×5 12-teamer) as a result of some of these trades? Any potential standouts to target from that group?

Jeff Zimmerman: None yet. The only two C in checking to see if they are an upgrade on my team are Pages and d’Araund

Tim: Does Toglia have legit long term upside in 14t dynasty? He’s already dual qualified at 1B/OF for next year and he was the best power available on the WW this week

Jeff Zimmerman: It’s close. I’m at the point I no longer drop him when the Rockies are on the road

12T Points: Roster crunch with Springs coming back, how would you rank the following (end of bench, can afford to stash 0s right now for playoff upside): Bobby Miller, River Ryan (post-pretty good start today), Luis Ortiz, Jeffrey Springs. Any of them worth cutting to try and stash Cobb? Thanks!

Pitching Conundrum: Joe Ryan has an ERA of 5 for the last month, but a WHIP of 1.15, 38K:5BB. Anything you’re seeing to explains the ERA? I want to ask if I should be concerned. Then you say ‘what are your options?’ Woods Richardson, Schwellenback, Spiers, Taillon?
