Jeff Zimmerman: Probably hold both unless there is a decent WW option (Phillips). I’d hold Fried for a week on news

tumtum: What should our expectations be on whether Springs will have the same impact as prior to the injury?

Jeff Zimmerman: No way to know for sure but on average, pitchers will be the same with less control

Tork-Fried-Rice: Justin Foscue: any potential for fantasy noise ros?

Jeff Zimmerman: I was looking into this before the chat. Maybe. I don’t like that he’s the DH so any could be the DH if they want a break.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d drop if there is anyone streamable on the wire.

$40 Pham: Thanks for these chats as always – super helpful! In my AL only when a player gets traded to the NL I get the salary back in FAAB. How do you / would you value a high $$$ player who is likely to get moved? Would you trade for one (like my namesake) if they were a solid contributor and a potential faab windfall?

Jeff Zimmerman: Sure. I looked at historic trade rates once and it’s even odds to for the player to stay in their league

Pitching Please: Is Jobe the best pitcher remaining either to come up or be available ROS?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d bet on deGrom, Ray, and Springs first. Unless the Tiggers make a run, I expect Jobe up just the last month

Doug: I need a bat to replace Albies. Who do you like most, Jake Burger or Michael Toglia?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m going with Saves as long as I have closers. Hell, I’d go 5/4 if I had 4 legit guys. Then at some point I’d go full 9/0

Doug: Who do you like as a speculative add with Fried and Olson injuries? AJ Smith Shawver or Jackson Jobe.

Jeff Zimmerman: Jobe by a mile, I don’t think he’ll be called up. I’m not sure ASS is any good

Ethan: Can Tyler Phillips lock up the fifth spot in Philly?

Jeff Zimmerman: Yes if team admits Walker is trash

gonyr: Early reports are relatively good on the Julio Rodriguez injury. Assuming it’s just a sprain, what’s your order of preference for a week or two as a possible replacement out of Butler/Meyers/Toglia/McCarthy?

Jeff Zimmerman: I don’t think so. Nelson has a great fastball and nothing else. Nothing. It’s a profile that has never succeeded. Best case is a Lance Lynn clone.

Jesse Winker: Jesse Winker is strictly platooning now and has barely run since his knee injury. Drop him for Jake Meyer ?

JJ: Have GLux at 2, looking at JIglesias as upgrade in FAAB, keeper 12 team mono NL league, no other owners with obvious IF needs, in 2nd place and need avg.  How’s 15% of remaining FAAB sound?

Jeff Zimmerman: The last three weeks (BB% and K% stabilize by then).
