Bob: What percent of FAAB would you spend on Noelvi Marie?

Jeff Zimmerman: We talked about this on the LA pod that team needs take priority. If you need hitting and Wood is not going to be available, I’d look at going max bid

Melissa: Buxton or Eloy worth a pickup in a 12 teamer? Wyler Abreu also out there.  Any guys in your WW list above them?

Jeff Zimmerman: I don’t mind a stash but make sure your week is covered. I’m not sure any of the guys listed are different makes so I’d temper my bids.

You Never Know: Would anything useful come from stashing Buehler or Garrett in an empty IL slot. My weakest SP is Kikuchi. 12-team QS league. Points.

Jeff Zimmerman: Possibly Buehler to see if there is any improvement this time around. You might look into Ray or Springs who are returning from the IL.

KCBBq: What do you think of dropping Kremer $1 in a 12 team AL only 5×5 H2H league for one of Spence, Cannon or Pressley? Cannon was cannon fodder, couldn’t help myself, today so you think he can be had for $1? $15 of $100 FAAB left.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d stream with these options. I might go Rodgers knowing he’s like the best option in half his games.

Rusty: What are your expectations for Gleyber ROS? Worth holding in 12 team mixed? Schneider, D. Moore, L. Garcia, Schneemann are FA options.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d hold. Schneemann would be my top option.

Kflynn: Any guess on who the next closer for the Cubbies might be once Neris loses the job?

Jeff Zimmerman: No idea, that is why I just listed them all in the WW report

Mike: Do you trust Rodon at Toronto after the last two outings or replace him with a Cade Smith level reliever?

Steve: In an OBP league, is Friedl a must-roster? Or rotate with hot hands on waivers? (for context, available on waivers include Josh Smith, Donovan, Soler, Kelenic, McCormick). Right now he’s on my bench and I’d love to grab an extra starter to stream this week, but Friedl feels too valuable to be a drop. Is he comparable to the guys sitting on waivers, or a must-hold?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d hold. Maybe trade for a starter

Sam: Do you expect Kjerstad to get more of a look this time?  Strong side platoon w/Hays?

Jeff Zimmerman: Probably. There might be some moves with him as DH and others in the OF.

Luzardo 60 DL: The late August return date for Jesus Luzardo is the fantasy death sentence unless you have somehow clinched the postseason in a deep points league, right?

Jeff Zimmerman: Pretty much. Go grab deGrom instead. Or Ray. Or Springs

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m not in the mood to roster a broke part-time player. Hopefully I can stream or roster better options.

Spencer Turnbull: Worth a big bid? Was great before move to the pen.

Jeff Zimmerman: We are going to see some big bids

$250 FAAB: In a 12 OBB roto. Reasonable or short and time to bid cheap for a few weeks right?  A smart person with a Process once told me roto players can benefit you all year so it’s OK to front load the bids a little bit.

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d at least save $10 per week on the way out, maybe even $15. You’ll need the money to may moves and if in the lead, $2 moves. There will be turmoil at the trade deadline and when prospects get called up around Sep 1st.

Dan: Jeff. Not sure what happened to my question? Will Brennan a decent streaming choice to take up some of the power shortage created by the loss of Stanton (12 team H2H)?

Jeff Zimmerman: Depends on the righties on the schedule. I just see him as a streamer. A platoon option for this week is a nice tasty Calzone.

Mike: Shane Baz worth a spec hold? Or would you prefer someone like Schwellenbach over him. Thanks

Jeff Zimmerman: Schwell has a nice schedule for the week but I could see dropping him to add Baz

Guest: if you find yourself hoping for one of the marginal players on your roster to get a quick IL trip so you don’t have to drop anyone, how severely are you mismanaging the roster?

Jeff Zimmerman: I need to have this happen. I put in bids for just three guys and got two with only one real opening. Oh well

Jeff Zimmerman: While I’ve recommended Massey on talent, there is a chance the Royals screw around and keep playing Adam Frazier.
