Cito’s Mustache: Jorge Polanco is still on waivers in my 10-teamer (6×6 roto with OBP). Do you see him providing more value ROS than the recent promotions, Riley, Hiura, Rodgers, etc.?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d value him after Riley but ahead of the rest

Kyle B: Hey Jeff, I’m in a 12-team keeper league and I’m dominating pitching, but need hitters. What % of FAAB (have 75% left) are you comfortable w/ on Willie Calhoun and Yordan Alvarez? Trying to get both.

Jeff Zimmerman: 25% to Willie, 10% to Yordan

Jeff Zimmerman: He and Keuchel should be owned at this point. The MLB draft is a couple of weeks away and both are likely to sign once it’s done.

Anders: Would you drop any of the following for Willie Calhoun in a points league? Franmil, H. Dozier, Puig? Thanks!

Trigger: Does Willie Calhoun stick with the Rangers when Andrus comes back?  Does he get full-time ABs?

Jeff Zimmerman: This is the question and why I didn’t go all in. Something has to give for him to stick.

My starters would still be Berrios, E-Rod, Weaver, Morton, and Woodruff.

Cito’s Mustache: I’m in dire need of SB in roto and the best options on waivers are Peraza, Wong, DeShields, Leury Garcia and KK. Is Nicky Lopez that much better overall than these guys that I should drop big faab $ on him tonight?

Jeff Zimmerman: No, get Garcia and keep an eye on DeShields. He’s the one who could steal 15 in a month if playing

TF Fredrik: How aggressive should i be with my remaining $495, someone cut loose Sonny gray in my NFBC $350 online. I’m in first by a bit but am much stronger in hitting (51.5, 38 pts.). I was thinking pushing $200-220 for each of them.

Jeff Zimmerman: You might be able to sleaze though with just over $100

Prospecting Saves: Would you add Leclerc in 12-team leagues where you need saves? If so, what % of FAAB? Apparently he looked great today

Van down by the river: 5 x 5 Roto.  I have cervelli, Navarez, and Kelly for catchers.  Who needs to go?

JD: In a 20 team keeper.  H2H points league.    Dropped JBJ and bid Some FAAB on Nick Lopez.  This is a very competitive league around for over 20 years.   No one outbid me and I bid low.   Am I missing something?    Is Lopez in the KC lineup all season?

Jeff Zimmerman: Should be if he hits. Nice pickup

Jerry Seinfeld: Is Riley really likely to be better than a Piscotty level OF? Which is sort of a cutoff point for most 5×5 12 team OF. I want more contact?

Jeff Zimmerman: There has to be some tradeoff (power vs contact). Riley could be in the Mat Olson class of players.

Yerdy: Is Jimmy Nelson worth a pick-up?  Seems like he may be nearing a return.

BigTuna: strategy question: if you want to drop a player but know an owner is interested, would you let waivers run, try to trade the player during the week and hope there is value on waivers next run?

FAAB Strategy: With 7 bench spots how many do you try to keep as A) Streamer Spots B) High Ceiling Stashes and C) High Floor Position Flex/Backups

Jeff Zimmerman: This year, 5 spots for players on the IL and two streaming options.

Jeff Zimmerman: I go with players in the majors and usually only have one MiLB stash. I like guys like Kevin Newman and JD Davis for stashes. They are in the majors and raking

Guest: If Nelson worth a grab while he’s cheap…how about Heaney?

Jeff Zimmerman: Both would be great if you have the room

Matt: Put in a bid for Cease, or try to get an early stash in Jimmy Nelson?

Jeff Zimmerman: Nelson. We should have an idea of his talent within a week or two.

Jeff Zimmerman: Maybe. I usually start guys with one bad and one good. Sometimes, I look into two W’s

2nd Chance NFBC: Are you playing? Would you do a buy-low strategy scooping slow starters or stay more nimble with the 2 months of info we’ve gotten?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d just good off projections for hitters. For pitchers, I’d try to find those who change and push up. Rob, Van, and I plan on talking about it on the Launch Angle Pod this week

Brian: Would you drop Frazier or Laureano for any of the rookies, Riley, Calhoun, Rodgers, lopez, mercado?  I need speed and RBI’s

Jeff Zimmerman: Either for Riley but that is it.

Jeff Zimmerman: Sit for now and let him build up his stock. I had someone try to buy-low on one of my shares but it was too late.

Jeff Zimmerman: It changes. The biggest change is that the Astros may not keep him around if he keeps on struggling

Penn, Teller: Should I cut Nate Lowe in my al only 3 man bench league for one all of these call ups or wait it out?

Jeff Zimmerman: Get the prospect in the majors. I’d try to trade off Lowe though

Jeff Zimmerman: Drop him. You might mention that you plan on dropping and see if someone wants him. He seems to have some die hard fans
