Jeff Zimmerman: It’s close for a ten teamer …. probably not but should be in larger leagues

Son of Sam Gaviglio: Am I for real?  Should fantasy owners pick me up in this upcoming 2 start week?

Jeff Zimmerman: He was the best option two-start option I had in several leagues. I really comes down to your other options.

borksadork: Who to add in the KC bully when Herrera gets dealt?

Jeff Zimmerman: Adam but I’m not 100% sure. I’m following this situation closely for those few Saves.

Joe B: Hector Rondon looks really good in the closer role.  What do you think?  Will he run with it or will there be a rotation among Giles, Devinski, Rodon and perhaps others?

Jeff Zimmerman: He does but who knows. It seems like the Astros just can’t quit Giles

Drew: in what order are you bidding on gsellman, Rondon, and Hicks if you are looking for most Saves ROS?

Jeff Zimmerman: ROS, Rondon, Gsellman, Hicks but I’d not be surprised if Gsellman gets more over the next few weeks.

Chewbacca : Start Steven Wright 2 starts or 1 start Newcomb against Padres?

Jeff Zimmerman: Weekly projection systems hate Wright this week, go with Newcomb. Might be different if a points league

Tony: I’m looking for a potential closer this season. Please rank: J. Jimenez, AJ Minter, Yates

Jeff Zimmerman: Yates ended up fairly high on MLBTR list of players to be traded. He could get moved.

Andrew Triggskaidekaphobia : 12 tm 5×5 H2H. Staff of Severino/Happ/Price/Taillon/Heaney/Gibson/C.Smith/Cahill/Kingham/Barria/Desclafani. (I like rostering a lot of SP).  Drop any of them for Manaea?

Drew: Does Choi going to Tampa change your bidding on Bauers? Is he worth 10-15% of budget?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m not sold on Bauers at all. I’d do 5% max and passed on him in some leagues.

Jon: In a 12 team H2H 6×6 (Std categories + K/9 & OPS) league and am in need of SV. How would u rank Parker, Tepera, or Soria ROS? Also, I have Braun as my 3rd OF. Should I pick up Thames or keep C. Santana / A. Hicks?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d pass on Thames for now

Brandini: 13 team 5×5 old school league – can I give up on Aaron Sanchez in favour of speculative saves (Hicks, Steckenrider, Castillo)?

Jeff Zimmerman: It’d come down to needs and the need may be getting Sanchez off your team for a dependable middle reliever.

Anders: Who are you taking ROS, Candelario or Bauers? Need to drop one when Donaldson comes back. Considering keeping Candy just as Donaldson injury insurance.

Jeff Zimmerman: Candy since he plays. I’m not sure what is going on with Bauers

NotMinty: Why is the waiver wire chat at 7:30 and my waivers are at 8?

Jeff Zimmerman: Sorry, I have a weekly obligation that gets over at 7 so it’s the earliest for me. I could go later

Maris: Jeff. I can pick up Juan Soto in the second of our four Free Agent drafts tomorrow. But will have to drop G. Polanco. Both priced close to same in keeper league. Would you?

Swung on Belted: Hey Jeff- in a 14 team wkly pts lg would you rather have any of Muncy, Adames, or Buxton over Aguilar rest of season? It’s a keeper lg so the young guys could serve as a potential trade chip for me come deadline time.

Jeff Zimmerman: Keeper …. Adames or Buxton but you may not win. Aguilar is a potential trade chip

JayA: 6X6 OPS league. Who do you like between Mazara and Eddie Rosario: 1. ROS? and 2. As a keeper for the next 5 years?

Jim: In 2nd in roto main in my league w 51pts pitching and 33 offense. Outfield been very meh rostering Brantley, Schwarber, Franmil, Delino, Taylor, Braun. Looking to add outfielder. Rank Joc, Bauers, Dietrich, Thames. I also have Braun and Aguilar so maybe some sort of platoon w roster locking twice a week.

Jeff Zimmerman: Brauns weird in that it’s not a true platoon with him. It’s like he is taking a break.

Jeff Zimmerman: This is a gamble on upside: Bauers, Joc, Thames, Dietrich.

Jeff Zimmerman: Another bat to watch is Jose Fernandez with the Angels. Depending on the league rules he could qualify at 1B, 2B, and 3B

Dynasty shmynasty: How would you rank order of priority for dynasty16 team league ops; Nimmo, Muncy, Reyes and Beltre?

Jeff Zimmerman: Not sure which Reyes, but I like the order you have them in.

Slapshot: Reynaldo Lopez worth a speculative add in a 5×5 dynasty format?  10 team league if league size matters.

Jeff Zimmerman: No, I don’t think there isn’t much talent to keep

Travioli: Does Bauers stick around with Tampa once Cron comes back or is this an Adames situation?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’m not sure but it could be. That is why I didn’t jump in.

Jeffe: Good time to pick up Nick Senzel?

Josh: Dylan Covey thoughts?  14 team mixed with deep benches, got Lyles, Mengden, and Desclafani as the staff dregs.

Chet: Steven wright worth the 2 starts? Other options are kuechel, junis, Ross, Domingo German. I know ross is ranked the best…just hate starting righties st suntrust.

JDD: 12 team 6×6 league (OPS and hits allowed 6th cats). FAAB $500 real money. Spent $150 and in dead last. That said I still think we can make a run. About to spend $39 $28 $27 $11 respectively on CJ Cron (very strangely dropped) J Soria Tepera Hector Rondon. Just traded for Treinen and now trying to plug the Shane Green Nate Jones hole. Am I crazy here? On total Tilt? Would love your thoughts on these 4 guys. Thanks a lot!

Jeff Zimmerman: First, I’d try to talk your team away from the deal FAAB $$$ and just add $250 to start the season to the pool. In my league, teams quit making moves, even $1 moves, once they felt they were out of it. Teams will remain more active and we found by only charging for half the potential pool, move money ended up in the pot

Jeff Zimmerman: Go for it with the pickups. Without the $$$ costs, I’d probably spend more.

LFC Mike: Joey Votto: .310 BA .433 OBP. Both Votto-esque. 6 Home runs. 6! …What is up with that? We are almost halfway through June. It is not early.

Jeff Zimmerman: He’s got a bad back and it’s sapping his power … I should write him up tomorrow.

AJ go Puk yourself: Trying to reahape my team. Mopkie Betts and hader enough to land sale, Cesar Hernandez and cueto

Jeff Zimmerman: Probably. I just traded Hernandez straight up for Hader

Jeff Zimmerman: No but he might be tradable to a contender. Always try to get the most talent on your team.

Jeff Zimmerman: Go ahead. He’s not going to pitch this season in the majors. He might do time at some point.

Jim: I took a look at Jose but he’s so old and minors were blah. Thoughts on Palka? Statcast darling and some nice minor seasons

Jeff Zimmerman: Palka is a better option for sure. The age does bother since he is a Cuban defector.

June: 12 tm holds and saves league, doing well in both looking for ratio help.  Drop any of Melancon, Boxberger or Kela for Betances, Hicks, Yates, Rodon, Bearclaw?

Phil: How would you rank Avisail Garcia, Kiermaier and Grichuk for rest of the year and how much to bid with 1000 budget?

Jeff Zimmerman: Kier, Grichuk (depends on playing time), Garcia. 10%, 3%, 3%

Jimbo: Is it time to drop Vlad Jr? Toronto has no incentive to bring him up and the injury gives them an excuse not to. What depth of league would you keep him?

Jeff Zimmerman: I’d hold everywhere. He’s one of the few possible rookie difference makers.

Evil Fantasy Baseball Oprah: There’s no league where I should hold Hanley, right? Except a league for people out of a job…

Jeff Zimmerman: He should get a job. Hold for one more week and then move on.

Scott: Hi Jeff, I need to pick up a closer and am low on waiver picks so job stability is important. Which of these has the best combo of performance and stability: Norris, Herrera, Strickland? Worried about Herrera getting traded at the deadline and being used as a non-closer. Thanks!

Jeff Zimmerman: Norris, Strickland, Herrera. Herrera is likely to be traded but he could go to the Angels and be the closer
