Mike, I have enjoyed every podcast of the Sleeper and the Bust. I have appreciated your humor and baseball knowledge. However, I was dismayed about the pejorative use of the r-word in this podcast. Fast forward to 8:04 into the podcast.
Through my personal life, I understand that many do not understand why this word is offensive to many. I used the word liberally in my youth myself. I am not condemning you.
Please take the time to read more about the r-word and why many of us strongly believe you shouldn’t use it. You can start here: http://www.r-word.org/
Thanks for the time, and as always, I really enjoy the podcast.
Thanks, I appreciate and respect you standing behind this campaign! I have never encountered anyone who was offended by that word and will certainly be more careful in the future not to use it.
Thanks, and I truly appreciate the response. If you have the time, I suggest you read this wonderful open letter to Ann Coulter. She used the r-word on twitter last year. Please pass it along.
