Gausman got hit hard during his few starts in the majors, but it wasn’t a performance reltated demotion that sent him down to the minors. The final game that Gausman started went 13 innings, and with a depleted bullpen, one of the Orioles starters had to go down. Gausman was that guy since he has options and was the least rested of the starters. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see him back in the majors in a couple weeks.
