Alex Rios 162 game pace: .293 AVG (.304 BABIP), 33 HR, 29 SB, 100 R, 83 RBI
Mike Trout 162 game pace: .293, 32 HR, 28 SB, 107 R, 115 RBI
I’m not saying Alex Rios *is* Mike Trout, but do you think he’s a possible top 30 player ROS?
Top 30 is a bit optimistic, but to toot my own horn, I was by far the most bullish of the rankers preseason. I ranked Rios 11th among all OFers, the other three were at 23, 24 and 30. I don’t think it’s outrageous if he’s top 30 RoS, but I wouldn’t bet on it. Still, he’s not really a sell high, though obviously not sure if he will sustain that career best HR/FB rate.
