Episode 175
The latest episode of “The Sleeper and the Bust” is live!
Zach Sanders and Nicholas Minnix talk end-of-season second basemen rankings, which went up on Monday, as well as what they think of 2015 prospects for some of those second basemen, including: Kolten Wong, Dee Gordon, Jose Altuve, Ben Zobrist, Rougned Odor, Jonathan Schoop, and Scooter Gennett. The analysts also break into some discussion about some general auction and draft strategy related to the position.
As usual, don’t hesitate to tweet us or comment with fantasy questions so that we may answer them in our next episode.

Nicholas Minnix oversaw baseball content for six years at KFFL, where he held the loose title of Managing Editor for seven and a half before he joined FanGraphs. He played in both Tout Wars and LABR from 2010 through 2014. Follow him on Twitter @NicholasMinnix.
Two things worry me about Altuve:
1) He was never regarded elite in regards to speed. He isn’ terribly fast, just a good base runner. That worries me for a drop off.
2)The BABIP. Career average LD and he was swinging more.
I’d bet on 2012 Altuve and not 2014 Altuve.
talking Kolten Wong for 20 minutes? wow
Just wanted to chime in, the Wong segment did go on forever.
Nick, I like your analysis a lot but you have to condense your comments and questions a great deal. I would recommend getting a little egg timer, set it to 45 seconds, and stick to it. Or imagine you are on PTI. It will work, all the important stuff gets said in the first 30 seconds anyway. Especially when you have someone else on the pod with you. You spent a couple minutes several times just trying to throw a question to Zach. It just felt awkward because you were talking so much more than he was.
In baseball terms, you have to shorten your swing dramatically. When you do, you will be great because you definitely know the fantasy game inside and out.
