RotoGraphs Audio: The Sleeper and The Bust 03/18/2014
Episode 101
The latest episode of The Sleeper and the Bust is now live! Jason Collette and Eno Sarris focus on pitching, discussing new pitches as well as pitchers with balanced approaches and elite pitches.
We’re trying to work out a recording time around travel schedules on Thursday, so this may be the only podcast this week.
As usual, don’t hesitate to tweet us any fantasy questions you have that we may answer on our next episode.
You can subscribe to the podcast on iTunes or via the feed.
Thanks to Ian Miller aka Teen Archer, for the new intro music Approximately 42 min of joyous analysis.

It looks like you aren't yet a FanGraphs Member (or aren't logged in). We aren't mad, just disappointed.

Do you know how long it takes to show up at the iTunes store after you release it here?
It varies. I’ve seen it take as long as a day, for whatever reason.
Thanks. Listening to your podcast instead of the local talking heads here in Boston makes my homeward commute that much more bearable.
No talk on Ventura? He’s got a 15/0 K/BB so far this spring. As Ks and BBs are the only thing with even a modicum any predictive value in spring training for pitchers, does his performance change his projections for 2014 at all?
He has a job now, which changes projections. He isn’t working on a new pitch, so he didn’t fit that part of the conversation and I’m guessing he didn’t have enough of a sample size to show up in the other two topics that Eno wrote about which drove the conversation in this episode.
In short, we both like Ventura but I personally will let others pursue him this weekend in Tout Wars because the hype will ensure full price if not +1 or 2.
Thanks mates.
Top flight as always.
I have to say……with Berry and Ravitz gone from ESPN’s podcast, you now have the best baseball podcast around. Thanks guys!
