David Ross finished second place on Dancing with the Stars apparently. There are lots of people congratulating him:

Various News and Notes
Trevor Story was activated from the DL on Tuesday. However, he did not play in the game. Jeff Hoffman was optioned to make room after having a great spot start the day prior. Hoffman is the next man up in the Rockies rotation and is a great streamer in spot starts on the road due to his great curve that plays better outside of Colorado.
Robinson Cano was activated from the DL on Tuesday. Cano was finally placed on the DL after qualifying for the “Jimmy Rollins Rule (Credit: Matthew Berry and Nate Ravitz of the #06010). This will likely mean less playing time to Taylor Motter, who still has not resumed following me on Twitter, unless Danny Valencia hits the DL for his continued wrist soreness.
Logan Forsythe returned from the DL on Tuesday and slotted right back into the top of the Dodgers lineup. Forsythe had a bit longer recovery than expected having had a few minor setbacks. As long as he can stay on the field, Forsythe should continue to have a fantastic, yet underrated fantasy season.
Dallas Keuchel is on track to return from the DL on Saturday, which is the first day he would be eligible. Keuchel has been fantastic this year and hopefully this is a just a blip.
Christian Yelich left Tuesday’s game with a hip injury. Yelich is considered day-to-day. He stated after the game that he hoped he’d only miss a couple of days.
Johnny Cueto stated on Tuesday that he is dealing with a blister on his index finger on his pitching hand in addition to the one he has been dealing with on his middle finger. This could account for his struggles this season. He plans to continue pitching through them in hope to develop calluses and prevent future recurrences.
Is it ironic that Joc Pederson got destroyed by Puig on his own bobblehead night?
As a Giants fan, I think it is. Pederson left the game with a strained neck and could potentially enter concussion protocol.

A pitcher for today: None
Nope. Just not going to do it. Sometimes you look at a slate and realize that you can’t use any of the lower tier options. I refuse to roll out Matt Garza or a Trevor Williams.
A pitcher for tomorrow: Mike Clevinger vs Cin
Clevinger was fantastic in his last start versus Houston on Saturday striking out eight in seven innings while only walk two batters. An improved swinging strike rate and improved control makes him interesting going forward.

Wonder how long Clevinger remains in the rotation with the injured Kluber on his way back? Does Tomlin get demoted in the process?
Tomlin has no options so in spite of the fact he is awful, I don’t know that they would DFA him. I think if Clevinger continues to pitch well, it would be hard for them to send him back to AAA.
Isn’t the usual option here to send someone from the bullpen back to AAA and make Tomlin a long man?
They definitely could. Goody and Armstrong both have an option. Armstrong could be optioned as he has struggle so far this year.
Well, Tomlin could “mysteriously” develop some type of injury that lands him on the generously used new 10 day DL. Teams have done it in the past and see no reason they won’t continue doing this.
Doubtful DFA a ‘useful’ piece like Tomlin. Injuries happen to every staff, they’d probably hang onto him.
