Rumors!
According to Eva Grant of the Dallas Morning News, the Rangers are shopping Adrian Beltre, Keone Kela, and Jake Diekman. Beltre has the ability to veto any trade, but may be willing to waive it, if he wants to take another shot at winning a ring. Kela is under contract through 2021 and would likely be highly coveted. Both Diekman and Beltre are free agents after this season.

According to Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe, a number of teams are interested in Zach Britton of the Baltimore Orioles, including the Red Sox. Britton is a free agent after this season and is very likely to be moved to a contender in the next six weeks.

Various News and Notes
Arodys Vizcaino was placed on the 10-Day DL with shoulder inflammation. The move is retroactive to June 28th. AJ Minter and Dan Winkler are likely to fill in Vizcaino’s absence. Winkler probably has the short-term advantage as he has been better this year, but Minter is the closer of the future and if this injury lingers, he may be able to grab the role long-term.

Clay Buchholz was removed from his start on Sunday with a side injury. Buchholz was cruising, having pitched five innings, striking out five and allowing only two baserunners on two hits. Buchholz has been great this year on the back of improvements to his cutter and changeup. If this turns out to be an oblique injury, then he will likely be out until after the All-Star Break.

Travis Shaw left Sunday’s game after hitting a foul ball in the game versus the Cardinals. Shaw has been in and out of the lineup with a wrist injury over the last week and this may be the final straw before he hits the DL.

Alex Bregman suffered a loss during the Astros game.

According to Gerrit Cole, Bregman DFA’d the mustache and it will report back to the 80’s where it belongs.

Gary Sanchez was forced out of Sunday’s game with a groin injury. Sanchez was running out a ground ball when he sustained the injury and appeared to be in considerable pain. He will likely head to the DL with the injury.
Streaming Pitchers Options
A pitcher for today: None
Hail Mary Option: Shelby Miller @ MIA
I don’t love this play, but it is the Marlins so I would be tempted to stream half of the FanGraphs staff against them.

A pitcher for tomorrow: Chad Bettis @ SF
Bettis has a 2.70 ERA on the road this season.

Starting Happ tonight against the ‘stros? Chances he goes 5 innings with 8 K’s but gives up 4 runs?

I’m starting him, but I’m also significantly behind innings pace, and need to make up W and K more than protect my ratios. If you’re in good shape in pitching points, might want to sit him, as the 5IP 4ER 8K line is definitely possible.
