The Rangers are bringing Rougned Odor back to the majors after he slashed .355/.430/.645 in 29 Triple-A games. Odor did have some issues with strikeouts earlier this year, but most of his poor performance was BABIP driven — though the Rangers were smart to send him down, just in case, to save some service time.

Staying in Texas: Joey Gallo now has four homers in his first 11 big league games. The power is tremendous.

Jorge Soler remains in a boot while recovering from a left ankle injury, but he did start baseball activities yesterday. Soler will likely be ready to return to the Cubs at the end of the month.

Devon Travis will start his rehab assignment today, and should be back with the Blue Jays near the end of the week.

Streaming Pitcher Options
If you enjoy streaming pitchers, tune into the Roto Riteup for recommendations each and every day.

A pitcher for today: Erasmo Ramirez vs WAS (Gio Gonzalez)
Erasmo over his last three starts: 17.1 IP, 15 K, 2 BB, 0 HR, .313 BABIP, 1.56 ERA.

A pitcher for tomorrow: J.A. Happ at SFG (Tim Lincecum)
Happ won’t have to face a DH and will stay in a pitcher’s park. I don’t love it, but count me in for now.

Regarding a streamer for Tuesday, would you roll the dice with someone like Tanner Roark or Charlie Morton over Happ? Roark has been pretty shaky his last couple stats, but he is facing Tampa, in Tampa and the Rays offense is far from inspiring. Morton hasnt struck out many people since coming back, but he has been pitching really well since coming off the DL and will face a Chicago White Sox team that has a pretty terrible line up aside from Jose Abreu.

Also, any chance you are starting Syndergaard against Toronto today or Trevor May against St. Louis? I feel like as good as Syndergaard can be, Toronto is just too scary of a matchup to deploy him in for Fantasy purposes. May has been really good this month and the numbers suggest it’s legit. Do you still fear the Cardinals lineup with how banged up it is?
