2:05	Paul Sporer: I don’t love it as I greatly prefer young hitters to young pitchers when all else is equal and honestly it might not even be equal given what we’ve seen from Seager. It’s not a catastrophe, but I prefer the guys you dealt.

2:05	Minty: If Beltre hits the DL, does Gallo come up or Profar stay there?

2:06	Paul Sporer: Well Profar is already there with Beltre not on the DL, so Gallo could come up while Profar stays. Can Profar throw from third? I think that’s the real question there.

2:06	Eric: Sell high on Villar? Or do you think he can be a top 5 SS RoS? What about the next 2 years?

2:06	Paul Sporer: If you can really sell high and get something(s) to help your team, do it. But I believe his speed which is a great driver of fantasy value.

2:07	Tony: I’m down to only two starters in my AL-only. Best arms available are Chacin, Santiago, Boyd and Nova. Anybody worth a pick up or should I stock up on a few awesome middle relievers until something better pops up or I make a deal?

Paul Sporer: If you need the pitching, I’m OK taking the chance. We saw him run hot for quite a while in ’14 thanks to the sinker and splitter. When he commands, he’s pretty damn sharp. I was suspect this year and I’m still a little leery, but I’m coming around after watching his last two start to finish

3:05	Paul Sporer: Hmm, that’s not awful. Fulmer is a legit prospect so even if he comes back down this year and doesn’t dominate the rest of the way, there is still tons of upside. Not sure the upside of Lee at 34 y/o. Can you get a younger bat?

bob: in a 30 team dynasty league, with arbitration that mirrors mlb. Would you trade SS/CF Chris Owings for Sp Reynaldo Lopez and OF Michael Gettys? Owings has three more years of control after this one. Gettys and Lopez I’d have their first 6 mlb years. My team’s not competing this year, just struggling with is this enough for a good cost controlled hitter who will be eligible at ss and cf next year.

Paul Sporer: Ya, impressive stuff last two times out. I think it’ll continue to be an up and down season as it’s been to date. Somewhere in that 3.90-4.30 ERA range is where he’ll land. I just saw the note about Harris on Rotoworld where AJ Hinch legitimately said get him in fantasy and see what happens so I’m changing my tune a bit from that earlier question where I recommended some others over him. I’ll go Harris here and in Zorak’s Q from earlier.

Paul Sporer: Ah, it seems Duffy and Paxton are our Chat Players of the Week! Every week we have 1-2 guys who get a million q’s asked about them. I think this was in before I answered the flood on them, so I’m not blasting you or anything, just saying I think we’re all set on q’s for these two. Duffy has been solid and the pedigree is enough to buy back in. Paxton has made discernible changes that Eno highlighted on yesterday’s pod so I’m taking another shot on him, too.

Paul Sporer: I mean, he just doesn’t K enough guys to be a fantasy frontliner. The GB% is a weapon, but it can have a downside in the form of hits which we’re seeing this yr. He’s good, not great. We overhyped him this year in fantasy circles across the net. He was almost universally regarded in that second tier which is too high
