Paul Sporer: Depends on league size and who is available, but I don’t think it’s egregious to keep him in 12+

Paul Sporer: I think so as long as the foot doesn’t linger

Kyle: Shallow 10 team mixed, standard scoring + XBH, BB, Would you drop Bautista for Belt, Cain, Holliday, Puig, or Werth?

Paul Sporer: Sure, there are lots of good options it seems, so pick a fave and ride the hot hand

Paul Sporer: Holliday jumps out

WheelerDealer: in 16 team H2H points league, Archer for Gio/Fowler. Who wins? Related: Who wins Archer for Severino + Gray?

Paul Sporer: Seems like a fair deal, I’d want Archer personally. For the 2nd deal, which Gray?

Cire: Too early to give up on Renfroe? He has been awful for me this year and guys like Souza and Yasmany are available.

Paul Sporer: I liked Renfroe coming in, but knew a sinkhole AVG was very possible. I’m not a Yasmany guy, but I could make the move

rich: are we all in on Berrios? more so than the likes of Morton, Wacha, Sonny, Eik, Cobb, Manaea?

Paul Sporer: I’m in on Berrios for sure, but not over all those guys, no. Probably only cutting Cobb or Sonny for him rn.

Steve: I’ll be in Austin next week. Where should I go for BBQ if I don’t like standing in line?

Paul Sporer: Rudy’s, Freedmen’s, Salt Lick, Lambert’s

Allan: What do you do with D. Swanson for the rest of the season? Is there anything there in a 12 team roto?

Paul Sporer: He does have a .203 BABIP so he’s had some bad luck, too. 12 tm is borderline, so if you see someone you like, you can make a move, but he’s not THIS bad

BalmerHun: What to expect from Gausman, ROS?

Paul Sporer: Man, I wish I knew. Impressed that he smashed Washington, but the skills are all off from recent seasons which is what worries me

Morkey: David Peralta still worth holding in 10-team?

Paul Sporer: 3 HR, 3 SB, .291 AVG – he’s performing

Eric Eyebar: Safe to say zack greinke is not gone to shit?

Paul Sporer: Thought he’d be fine if healthy… he looks healthy!

Tommy Lasordid: Thoughts on Bellinger? Small sample size, I know, but I can’t image him being sent back down. Is he already challenging Seager for best Dodger hitter?

Paul Sporer: The Toles injury clears his path. He’s been awesome. He’ll hit a cold patch, but I love Bellinger

Cory: Wilson or Reed to replace Melancon? Dropping Betances

Paul Sporer: Prefer Reed, but like both in closer’s role

Book: Gausman and Maeda are both on the wire in my 10-team. Are either a pick up and hold, or just streamers?

Paul Sporer: Maeda closer than Gausman for sure. Maeda’s DL *feels* like DL manipulation, as opposed to a long-term worry

Eric Eyebar: How bad ass is Anthony swarzak for the white Sox? Hidden era and whip gen!

Paul Sporer: Kahnle, Swarzak, and Putnam have been insane in the White Sox pen!

Barry: 10 team NL only: thoughts on guys like jimmy nelson or german marquez as holds for upside?

Paul Sporer: Surprised they’re available in 10 tm NL. I’d prefer Nelson over Marquez if only for Coors (not that Miller Park is a treat)

Guest: Are you starting Ervin Santana against Cleveland tonight? 12-team league

Paul Sporer: Ya, he has one bad start. I’m not sure it’s the beginning of a collapse, though

Cw: Castro- should i hold in a 10 team keeper (keep forever)? I have Turner/Peraza to fill in and could use the flexibility on streaming pitchers.

Paul Sporer: Trade possible? Feels tough to cut Castro outright

wes: CarGomez showing you anything at all? Might be behind Choo (gets on base) and DeLino (steals them) for fantasy purposes now?

Paul Sporer: 4 HR/4 SB. The AVG sucks, but I’m not making a move to cut rn

Tex: Nomar Mazara has been pretty putrid since his blistering start. Is he still a hold in 10-team?

Paul Sporer: So easy to get drunk on the young emerging bat when he starts hot, right? I know I was giddy at his start. That said, I’m still holding. He’s still hitting righties (.808 OPS)

Paul Sporer: 25%? He’s been amazing in Triple-A again, let’s hope he bring it to the bigs this time. Big, big fan of him

Paul Sporer: ya I’m curious about how much the shoulder impacted his awful start, too. I’m not quitting him

Paul Sporer: Still Jones is ahead when healthy. I’d eye Knebel most of that group then Soria bc of potential Herrera trade
