November ADP Market Report: Third Basemen
With drafts beginning to ramp up, it is important to monitor where players are being draft on a regular basis. Throughout draft season, I will be doing that work for you with regular updates on the Average Draft Position on NFBC up until Opening Day.

Top 200 Players Rising
Ke’Bryan Hayes (+19.13)- The more and more I look at Hayes, the more I begin to buy in on him as a potential top 100 player. His ADP is moving that way as well. Hayes’ StatCast data is beautiful and he could be a version of early career Anthony Rendon. We have alway known he has a great hit tool, but he is a launch angle adjustment away from locking into some power with the assistance of the juiced ball. His ADP in the 2 Early Mocks was 210 and now he is looking like he could cut that in half by the time we get to the new year and I am here for it.
Jean Segura (+.)- See the last piece in this series on second basemen.
Top 200 Players Falling
Kris Bryant (-11.2)- Bryant’s fall in ADP may have something to do with the rumors he could be non-tendered, but that deadline has come and gone, so now we are left with a player with immense talent, but some warts. While he has an “injury prone” label, he has played in 147 or more games in all but two of his seasons (2018, 2020.) I don’t love his price, but if he continues to drop he will begin to offer a bargain, with less risk than may
Be the general public gives him credit for.
Tommy Edman (-11.29)- See the last piece in this series on second basemen.
Gio Urshela (-11.56)- Urshela is consistently overlooked in fantasy, which explains why he is dropping. He has great plate skills and has added exit velocity in each of his last two seasons. He isn’t a league winner, but he is a very steady and safe CI that is going at a nice price and behind much more risky options.
Top 300 Players Rising
Austin Riley (+27.26)- Unless the Braves add another piece or two for their lineup, it appears they may be ready to roll with Riley full time. Riley is what he is at this point, a cheap power source. He is a good guy to draft later if you like punting batting average or have a safer team average due to earlier draft picks. If the Braves go out and get a third baseman, I would be less inclined to draft him with Christian Pache already having made his debut and Drew Waters expecting to make his at some point.
Ryan McMahon (+15.91)- See the piece in this series on first basemen.
Top 300 Players Falling
Jeimer Candelario (-15.98)- See the piece in this series on first basemen.
