Is 3B the deepest position?

You can get better than 12-team league average production from a Donaldson-Urias at #16-18.

No, it’s actually considered the shallowest other than catcher this year.

The auction calculators tend to agree 3B is very deep for non-shallow formats. Not so much star potential compared to other positions, but the replacement level is highest. The relative value between the 10th and 25th best 3B is the smallest of any position which means you can pretty safely wait to get decent production from 3B without using a lot of draft/auction capital.
