Roto Riteup: August 6, 2015

Yesterday the new United States soccer crest leaked online. Given that the current crest has been in service since I was six years old, it was time for an update. Both the USMNT and USWNT are expected to wear the new design beginning next year.

On today’s agenda:
1. Paul Goldschmidt sets a personal best
2. Michael Cuddyer could be activated tomorrow
3. The pending return of Jered Weaver
4. Streaming Pitching Options

Roto Riteup: August 5, 2015

The official Deadpool red band trailer (warning: language, violence, adult themes…it’s an R rated film for these reasons) dropped last night — as did the green band if you need something slightly more appropriate — and it has successfully gotten my hopes up.

On today’s agenda:
1. Freddie Freeman’s oblique strain
2. Quick thoughts on Henry Owens‘ debut
3. Michael Pineda update
3. Streaming Pitching Options

Roto Riteup: July 31, 2015

Don’t worry faithful Roto Riteup readers, Zach Sanders will return to his normal duties tomorrow. Anyways, there wasn’t any public backlash about not covering the trades in yesterday’s RR — other than one of my friends being cruel enough to call me the Edwin Jackson of FanGraphs — so today we continue with normal programming.

On today’s agenda:
1. Curtis Granderson keeps hitting
2. Michael Pineda placed on disabled list
3. Streaming Pitching Options

Roto Riteup: July 30, 2015

I’m obviously biased, but the MLB trade deadline is the best in sports. Not even soccer transfer windows are this much fun…unless you’re Wilmer Flores. Rather than trade evaluations, we’re back to our regularly scheduled programming. Of course, if you’d prefer the trade coverage, let me know in the comments!

On today’s agenda:
1. Bad news for Matt Holliday
2. Mookie Betts shelved with a concussion
3. Javier Baez watch
4. Welcome back, Travis d’Arnaud
5. Streaming Pitching Options
