Notable Workloads
•Félix Bautista, BAL: 18 pitches on Saturday; back-to-back days. | RosterResource
Either Yennier Cano or Bryan Baker is the likeliest to appear in a save situation if Bautista is unavailable.
•Kenley Jansen, BOS: 20 pitches on Saturday; back-to-back days. | RosterResource
Chris Martin and John Schreiber are well rested and either could appear in a save situation.
•Clay Holmes, NYY: 31 pitches on Saturday; back-to-back days. | RosterResource
Closer Committee member Wandy Peralta is also on “High Usage Alert”, making either Ian Hamilton or Michael King the likeliest candidates to close out the game if needed.
•Alexis Díaz, CIN: 41 pitches on Saturday; back-to-back days. | RosterResource
Both setup men Lucas Sims and Derek Law should be available.
•Andrew Chafin, ARI: 2 pitches on Saturday; back-to-back days. | RosterResource
Miguel Castro and Scott McGough should be available.
•Pierce Johnson, COL: 23 pitches on Saturday. | RosterResource
Justin Lawrence is the likeliest to fill in on Sunday if the Rockies are in a save situation.
•Evan Phillips, LAD: 11 pitches on Saturday, back-to-back days. | RosterResource
Brusdar Graterol seems likeliest to appear in a save situation as Caleb Ferguson is also on “High Usage Alert”. Graterol was given the chance to close out the game on Saturday with Phillips throwing in the eighth inning, but Graterol could only get two outs. It’s possible that the Dodgers could give someone new a look, or Graterol could get a chance at redemption.

Outlier Saves
•Trevor Stephan, CLE | RosterResource
With closer Emmanuel Clase coming off a 27-pitch loss and blown save on Friday, someone was going to need to fill in if a save opportunity came about on Saturday. Stephan was the man to do it and he needed 26 pitches. He gave up one hit and one walk but struck one batter out and secured the save. He now has two on the season. The 27-year-old righty has a 1.62 ERA, but a 4.55 FIP. He’s a solid option for the Guardians when Clase needs rest.
•Caleb Ferguson, LAD | RosterResource
Ferguson collected his first save of the year on Saturday when he came into the top of the ninth with two outs and struck out
Jake Cronenworth to secure the win for the Dodgers. Brusdar Graterol got the first two outs of the inning but gave up two singles thereafter and was relieved by Ferguson. Both Ferguson and Graterol seem like nice options for fantasy managers looking for holds and wins, but Phillips is still the main man for save situations in LA.
•Gregory Soto, PHI | RosterResource
Both Craig Kimbrel and Seranthony Domínguez had thrown on Friday and likely needed rest on Saturday. Soto looked like the reliever he was back when he was closing out games on a regular basis for the Tigers. He faced three batters with 10 pitches and left it up to his defenders to collect two grounders and one fly ball. If Soto can continue to limit the walks that plagued him in the early part of the season, he may start to get more looks in high leverage again. But, with José Alvarado on the 15-Day IL with an elbow issue, Craig Kimbrel is the clear option in save situations for now.
