Notable Workloads
•Alex Lange, DET: 24 pitches on Sunday; 28 pitches on Saturday. | RosterResource
Jason Foley is the likeliest to close for the Tigers on Monday.
•Raisel Iglesias, ATL: Three of the last four days; 24 pitches on Sunday. | RosterResource
Nick Anderson’s also thrown three of four, and A.J. Minter threw 31 pitches Sunday. That could leave Joe Jiménez, Collin McHugh, or Kirby Yates to close Monday.

Outlier Saves
•Keynan Middleton, CHW | RosterResource
Kendall Graveman wasn’t available after 28 pitches on Sunday, so the White Sox had to turn to an alternative on Sunday. Middleton had a very easy time protecting a three-run lead, earning his second save of the season. He’s been a great get for the Sox on an offseason minors deal, with 36 strikeouts to just ten walks in 27 innings of work.
•Seth Martinez, HOU | RosterResource
Closer Ryan Pressly came into the ninth inning of a tie game and ended up pitching the tenth as well, which left Martinez as the best option to close in the 11th, with the Astros working with a short bullpen with Bryan Abreu and Ryne Stanek evidently unavailable. Martinez was able to pitch around the zombie runner to preserve a one-run lead and earn his first career save.
•Elvis Peguero, MIL | RosterResource
Devin Williams pitched in the bottom of the ninth in a tie game, which left Peguero to pitch the tenth after the Brewers cashed in the zombie runner in the top of the inning. It was a tough task for Peguero, who had to face José Ramírez, Josh Naylor, and Andrés Gimenez with a one-run lead and runner on second. He struck out the first two batters before hitting the third and inducing a Myles Straw pop up for his first career save.
Peguero struggled mightily in his first two seasons in the bigs with the Angels, but has been a solid bullpen piece for the Brewers since coming over in the Hunter Renfroe trade, with a 2.89 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 28 innings.
