We will always include a link to the full Closer Depth Chart at the bottom of the Bullpen Report each day. It’s also accessible from the RosterResource drop-down menu and from any RosterResource page. Please let us know what you think.

Notable Workloads
•Jorge López, BAL: Three of the last four days; 11 pitches on Friday. | RosterResource
Félix Bautista, Dillon Tate or Cionel Pérez are all options to close if López is unavailable Saturday.
•Emmanuel Clase, CLE: Three of the last four days; 12 pitches on Friday. | RosterResource
Clase’s availability could go either way since he didn’t pitch Thursday and has been efficient in his three recent appearances. If he’s unavailable, look for Trevor Stephan or Eli Morgan to close.
•Scott Barlow, KCR: 35 pitches on Friday. | RosterResource
Dylan Coleman, Taylor Clarke and José Cuas are all closing options on Saturday.
•Kenley Jansen, ATL: 26 pitches on Friday. | RosterResource
A.J. Minter and Will Smith both went unused on Friday so they should be good to close Saturday.
•Craig Kimbrel, LAD: 29 pitches on Friday. | RosterResource
Evan Phillips, Alex Vesia, and Yency Almonte should all be available Saturday.
•Camilo Doval, SFG: 21 pitches on Friday; 18 pitches on Thursday. | RosterResource
John Brebbia and Dominic Leone have also worked back-to-back days, but they’ve both been more efficient than Doval. But if they’re not available a save chance would likely fall to Tyler Rogers or Jarlín García.
Injury News
•None
Outlier Saves
•Connor Brogdon, PHI | RosterResource
The Phillies used co-closers Seranthony Domínguez and Brad Hand earlier in the game when it was still tied, so Brogdon was given a chance for the Outlier Save with a two-run lead in the tenth inning. He made very quick work of the Pirates, with just eight pitches (seven strikes) to retire the side for his first save of the year. He’s been a key setup reliever for the Phillies when healthy, with an ERA of 2.05 in 22 innings.
Committee Clarity
•None
Losing A Grip
•Taylor Rogers, SDP | RosterResource
Rogers has already lost his grip, with manager Bob Melvin declaring that he won’t be the closer for the time being.
Bob Melvin said the Padres will probably give Taylor Rogers “a little bit of a break” from closing. Melvin suggested Rogers will return to the role at some point.

The southpaw is in an extended rough stretch, allowing 22 runs in his past 22 innings, so this isn’t some knee-jerk reaction from the Padres; if anything, Rogers was in the role a little bit too long.
As far as current options go, Luis García, Nabil Crismatt, and Nick Martinez have all pitched well, though Martinez is currently on paternity leave. It’s a small sample but Adrian Morejon has been excellent in his nine innings of work as well. This all may become moot by the time the Trade Deadline rolls around, however.
