Notable Workloads
•Emmanuel Clase, CLE: 26 pitches on Sunday. | RosterResource
Trevor Stephan threw 27 pitches on Sunday, so he too could be unavailable Monday. Enyel De Los Santos, Eli Morgan, or Sam Hentges could close.
•Jhoan Duran, MIN: 34 pitches on Sunday; 8 pitches on Saturday. | RosterResource
Griffin Jax and Emilio Pagán are the two likeliest closers on Monday if the Twins are in such a spot.
•Paul Sewald, SEA: 11 pitches on Sunday; 17 pitches on Saturday. | RosterResource
Sewald hasn’t pitched three straight days this year yet, and he might not on Monday. That could leave Andrés Muñoz or Justin Topa to close.
•Adbert Alzolay, CHC: 24 pitches on Sunday. | RosterResource
Co-closer Mark Leiter Jr. will be good to go on Monday.

Outlier Saves
•Joe Jacques, BOS | RosterResource
Kenley Jansen threw 22 pitches on Saturday, and Garrett Whitlock lasting just one inning before departing due to elbow soreness. Nick Pivetta had a great four-inning relief outing to help the bullpen out, but the short-staffed Sox still had to turn to the rookie Jacques in just his sixth career appearance with a one-run lead. He pitched a 1-2-3 inning for his first career save.
•Gregory Santos, CHW | RosterResource
Kendall Graveman only threw eight pitches on Saturday, but it was his third appearance in four days, so he was left unavailable on Sunday. That left Santos to cover a three-run lead on Sunday, and although it was down to one run by the time he was done, he earned his first career save in closing it out. He’s been a key workhorse member of the White Sox bullpen, with a 2.95 ERA in 42.2 innings.
