Notable Workloads
•Ryan Pressly, HOU: Three straight days; 16 pitches on Friday. | RosterResource
No shot Pressly is available on Saturday. Hector Neris and Bryan Abreu should both be available to close.
•Paul Sewald, SEA: 22 pitches on Friday; 15 pitches on Thursday. | RosterResource
Andrés Muñoz hasn’t appeared since Wednesday, and Justin Topa and Matt Brash are also options to sub for Sewald.
•Pete Fairbanks, TBR: 15 pitches on Friday; 19 pitches on Thursday. | RosterResource
Jason Adam didn’t pitch Friday and should be good to go on Saturday.
•Jordan Romano, TOR: 12 pitches on Friday; 9 pitches on Thursday. | RosterResource
Romano’s been economical in his back-to-back appearances, but he rarely pitches three games in a row and is coming off back stiffness that took him out of the All-Star Game. Erik Swanson is likely unavailable as well after 39 pitches between Thursday and Friday, which leaves Yimi García and Tim Mayza as the likeliest closers.

Outlier Saves
•Kirby Yates, ATL | RosterResource
Raisel Iglesias threw 22 pitches on Thursday and pitched Tuesday and Sunday as well, so he took a breather on Friday. Yates began his fill-in outing admirably, striking out the first two batters he faced before issuing a couple walks to set up an epic 11-pitch battle with Blake Perkins that culminated in a strikeout. The save was Yates’s second of the season.
