What’s On Second? (8/3/20-8/9/20)
Sometimes you are all set for the week. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t start thinking about the future. This article takes a look ahead for the following week to see if maybe there are things to consider or players to stash that may not have as much value right now. Don’t forget to check out the companion article to this one, Who’s On First?

Things to Consider
Most prospects teams are trying to get an extra year of service time should be eligible to come up during this week. NFBC players should draft the ones they want to not get stuck overpaying in the first FAABapalooza, but everyone else may want to snag them now if they weren’t drafted.
The Red Sox and Nationals only play five games in Week 2.
The Giants play in Colorado.
Pickups
Nate Pearson, Spencer Howard, MacKenzie Gore, Nick Madrigal, and any other major prospect on competing teams- The service time barriers will pass this week and a lot of these guys will be up. Grab them before they are.
Bradley Zimmer– Zimmer may get some extra run here with the lack of depth in the outfield. Don’t forget he was a consensus top 25 prospect until injuries derailed him.
Buck Farmer– Joe Jimenez looked rough in his first save attempt and his velocity was down. Farmer seems like the next man up if they look to replace him.
Wilmer Flores– Flores has looked good at the plate and the Giants have a series in Coors.
Jordan Montgormery- Montgomery was dropped in a number of leagues after being sent down, but he should be back with a decent two-start week as you will see below.
Ryan Helsley– Kwang Hyun Kim was very shaky in his first save opportunity and it could mean that Helsley or Giovanny Gallegos gets the role sooner than later.
Two-Start Pitchers Worth Considering
Jordan Montgomery at BAL, at TB
Alec Mills vs KC, at STL
Jeff Hoffman vs SF, at SEA

Sorry to ask a question here, but does anyone know when the Steamer (RoS) stats begin to be reported on Fangraphs? Thanks.
