Any chance you can add MLBAM ID to your projections file this year?
Unfortunately I won’t be, but the first tool listed at this link includes a master Player ID file that you could easily do lookups against.

Thnx for the work!
Are these sortable? Keep clicking the column headers and nothing happens.
Paste it into excel
Coooooool thanks !
Great stuff, thanks!
This is fuckin awesome! The only gripe I have is that I wish I could sort by column.
just copy/paste into excel
Not Justin Smoak again! How many times are we supposed to get burned by favorable projections for him?
So I guess anybody who bought the book just got screwed.
What do you mean? If you’re referring to Projecting X 2.0, these equations are not in it!
I didn’t buy the book. But I know somebody who did and he was unhappy that the Brls/BBE metric was missing. He said that you told him that it would be in the book.
Huh? That metric literally wasn’t even created yet when the book was first published! I published the update at the beginning of 2016 and Brls/BBE wasn’t created until the end of the 2016 season.
Barrels is a lagging metric, right Mike? Not predictive?
Correct
What datasets did you use to calculate your adjusted R^2 for xHR/FB? I had an idea regarding an improvement to xHR/FB but I want to make sure the playing field is level when I test the R^2
Both years of data? PA minimum)
