Episode 29 – The Monologue Episode

The latest episode of “Field of Streams” is live!

In this episode, Dylan Higgins discusses feeling insane by talking to himself, making an obligatory mention of garlic fries, attempting to label lineups that you can use to “fill in” holes in your DFS lineup, the downfall of The Eraser, Kris Bryant being a bona fide power option already, appreciating early podcast feedback, and not shying away from a team after they disappoint in a big matchup.

Contest picks for Thursday, May 14: Chase Whitley @ TB (Dylan) and Drew Hutchison @ HOU (Matt).

Contest pick for Friday, May 15: Chase Anderson @ PHI (Dylan and Matt).

I went with Quintana, and the chicken won the gunfight yesterday, but I fielded a little league team in a long shot lineup and threw in Lyles who died in the first inning from a line drive comebacker from Pujols the Dominican Robot.

Thoughts on Travis Wood? Mets have a 25% K rate and a .288 wOBA vs L. Went through their main line up, looks like the starters post terrible numbers away vs L. As you cant tell by now I have trouble with pitchers. To me it’s like betting on a drunk cat throwing darts. He might score 501 on the first throw or he might poop on your desk and fall asleep. In any case I’d like to get your take on Travis. Thanks for the Creepy monologue this morning, it helps with 2 small game slates!
