Various news and notes
Carlos Carrasco is slated to return from the disabled list on Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox. Carrasco had no issues during yesterday’s bullpen session, and while it’s a shame the minor league season is closing and it’s harder to find an opportunity for rehab starts, the right-hander only missed a trio of starts so shouldn’t be too far out of his rhythm.

The Diamondbacks don’t plan to call Archie Bradley up this month, even after his minor league season is over. Bradley was quite disappointing while in the big leagues this season, showing expected control issues but also failing to strike batters out. Just 23 years old, Bradley still has some time to put it all together, but he is no longer the outstanding prospect we saw in 2013.

Andrew Susac is done for the year, having sprained his right wrist. At one point, Susac seemed to be an impressive enough prospect that there was talk of potentially moving Buster Posey out from behind the dish to get both bats in the lineup. We certainly only have small samples over the past two years, but Susac’s strikeout problems have frozen those talks, and he now seems like a productive backup.

If you’re looking for some steals over the next few days, look no further than Michael Bourn. Cameron Maybin is expected to miss some time after his left eye was scratched, and Bourn will step in for the Braves.

If Travis d’Arnaud can stay healthy, he’s a force to be reckoned with. His 2015 slash line is up to .295/.376/.560 after hitting a homer last night.

Streaming Pitcher Options
If you enjoy streaming pitchers or play DFS, tune into the Roto Riteup for recommendations each and every day.

A pitcher for today: Jerad Eickhoff at BOS (Eduardo Rodriguez)
Eickhoff has been solid thus far, and though he has to face a DH, he does get to pitch away from Citizen’s Bank.

A pitcher for tomorrow: Zach Davies at MIA (Justin Nicolino)
Go with a youngster and give Davies a chance in a big ballpark.

Zach is the creator and co-author of RotoGraphs' Roto Riteup series, and RotoGraphs' second-longest tenured writer. You can follow him on twitter.

Would you start Carrasco against WhiteSox despite poor career numbers?

I would definitely start him. White Sox offense is historically bad.
